Lake Fun

This past Sunday my dad invited to go out on the boat with him so Brett, Audree & I loaded up. We dropped little miss ashlyn off at my mom's because it was waaaaaaay too hot for her out there. We met up with some friends, the pifers, and hung out. We all swam in the lake, talked, hung out and rode around. It was so nice to get out of the house and just relax! Later that night Zach & Tiff came over and we made hamburgers, hot dogs and some baked beans. Audree had fun hanging out with her aunt tiff and they finally got to meet miss ashlyn. I forgot to take pics once we got home though, so no pics then haha BUT here are some pics from the day:

Laura's 8th Bday Bash

Today is our beautiful niece's birthday & party. She had it at the water park, which always so fun!! We swam for a bit, then headed back to my inlaws for lunch, presents, cake & ice cream. We got Laura a baby alive and she loved it. We got her one a few years back, but Im not quite sure what happened to it. Of course Audree had to have a new dolly too, so we got her the mini version, it only goes# 1 not # 2 haha

Weight Loss

How many have you seen this when you step on the scale? Ive seen this many times and Im ready to QUIT seeing this!!!

I have been on Weight Watchers for about a month and only lost 2 lbs! Needless to say I was VERY flustered and got very upset because I was eating right, staying at about 1000 calories. 2 friends of mine have been on the low carb diet and have had FANTASTIC results so I thought hey why not give it a shot.

I started the low carb diet and not eating more than 20 carbs a day. I thought it was going to be hard, but its really not at all! Im avergaing about 15 carbs a day. Im also running/walking 2 miles a day and mowing the grass once a week which is a HUGE workout in itself haha

I weighed this morning and Ive lost 5 lbs!! 5 lbs in 4 days, WHOO HOO!! I am so excited, its unreal!!! I can't wait to see how it keeps coming off and how low I can get. Ive lost 20 since Ive had Ashlyn 2 months ago and Im looking to lose 20 more to get to my goal weight!

Fathers Day

For Father's Day I always go above and beyond for Brett. He is the best daddy to our girls and we are so blessed to have him in our lives. He is always there for us no matter what and can always lift us up when we are down. Without him, I wouldn't have the most precious girls in the entire world.

Friday we went and bought him a new lawn mower, it wasn't a surprise but he got to pick it out himself. Saturday we packed up, got the girls ready and headed to Austin for the day/night. I drove him around all weekend so he didn't have to. He probably wouldve rather drove to Austin and back haha You would have to know how I drive!!

We checked into our hotel, played and got ready for dinner. I had a special dinner planned for us at the Oasis. Weve never been there before, but have heard wonderful things about it. We got to The Oasis around 6 and they were packed! We chose to sit outside as you can see Lake Travis from the outside view. It was so beautiful out there.

After dinner we headed back to the hotel. Audree just thought a hotel was just the neatest thing in the world. Weve stayed in them before but for some reason she was really excited this time. It was time for Ashlyn to eat and I made her a bottle. I set it on the end table while I got my pj's on, next thing I know Aud has the top of the bottle off and says "Mommy sister is hungry". After she was finished feeding sister (the whole 5 seconds she fed her haha) we all watched some tv, then the girls crashed.

Sunday morning we woke up before the girls, which is a SHOCKER! I woke the girls up so they could give Brett his present, his other present since he already opened his lawn mower. He had been wanting these longhorn swimming shorts, so we got them for him. We played with them before heading down for breakfast. We ate and got on the road to head home.

We headed home and unpacked and my dad came over for a bit so we could spend fathers day with him. Then we headed to Brett's parents house for dinner and to spend some time with his dad. I bought my father in law & brett his cake for Father's Day. I know I know Im such a good wife and daughter in law :)

Overall I think Brett had a really good Father's Day and I hope all of you daddy's and mommy's who are your childrens daddy's had a great one too!!
