Turkey Day Pics
19 Weeks!!!
We FINALLY came up with a name for little missy! I wanted Adelynn but dadddy said no way :( So we ended up naming her Ashlyn Elizabeth. I think its a cute name and goes really well with Audree! Audree goes around the house saying "Ashin Ashin"
Sunday morning Audree was standing on our bed, lost her balance and she fell right on little miss ashlyn. It knocked the breathe out of me and I started crying because I was so scared something was going to happen. Poor little Audree didn't know what to do, she didn't do it on purpose, but we had to explain to her that anytime something hits mommy's belly it could hurt the baby. She gave my tummy hugs and kisses all day long! She is such a sweetheart!
How your baby's growing:
Your baby's sensory development is exploding! Her brain is designating specialized areas for smell, taste, hearing, vision, and touch. Some research suggests that she may be able to hear your voice now, so don't be shy about reading aloud, talking to her, or singing a happy tune if the mood strikes you.Your baby weighs about 8 1/2 ounces and measures 6 inches, head to bottom — about the size of a large heirloom tomato. Her arms and legs are in the right proportions to each other and the rest of her body now. Her kidneys continue to make urine and the hair on her scalp is sprouting. A waxy protective coating called the vernix caseosa is forming on her skin to prevent it from pickling in the amniotic fluid.
How your life's changing:
Think you're big now? You'll start growing even faster in the weeks to come. As a result, you may notice some achiness in your lower abdomen or even an occasional brief, stabbing pain on one or both sides — especially when you shift position or at the end of an active day. Most likely, this is round ligament pain. The ligaments that support your uterus are stretching to accommodate its increasing weight. This is nothing to be alarmed about, but call your practitioner if the pain continues even when you're resting or becomes severe. You may be noticing some skin changes, too. Are the palms of your hands red? Nothing to worry about — it's from the extra estrogen. You may also have patches of darkened skin caused by a temporary increase in pigment. When these darker patches appear on your upper lip, cheeks, and forehead, they're called chloasma, or the "mask of pregnancy." You may also notice some darkening of your nipples, freckles, scars, underarms, inner thighs, and vulva. That darkened line running from your belly button to your pubic bone is called the linea nigra, or "dark line."

18 Weeks & Were having A.......
Friday morning I woke up with a little bit of spotting, I was freaking out a bit so I called the Dr. They asked me if I was cramping and I said yes. They wanted me to come in and do a heartbeat check but since we have the doppler at home, I just ran home at lunch and checked the baby and it was fine. They told me to take it easy and stay off of my feet, so I followed Dr's orders. saturday morning I woke up to the blood spots again, I was pretty calm but still scared out of my mind. I called Brett into the bathroom and he said dont worry and to lay down. Since then I haven't had anything, so keep your fingers crossed it stays that way!
We are 18 weeks and feeling FABULOUS! Heartburn is still there and goodness gracious it seems like I have swallowed fireballs at times! Tums is no longer working so I am just toughing it out, come on baby hope this means you have a lot of hair like your sister haha!
Tummy of course is growing like crazy, but that means baby is growing so that is GOOD! No stretch marks so far (just the ones on my hips from little audree loo) and we hope it stays that way!
BIG NEWS OF THE WEEK: we went in for an ultrasound today (tuesday november 24) to see our precious little baby! Everything looked wonderful according to the ultrasound tech, the Dr and what our little eyes could see! Let me just tell you that our baby is one stubborn little GIRL!! Yep you read that right, we are having another little princess! She was very comfortable and did not want to move for us. When we talked to her, she put her fingers in her ears (Lord please help me now haha), when the tech would try to move her she would just sit there. She measured 18 weeks and 6 days which is 3 days ahead of what we originally thought, but we are keeping everything the same. Dr K said that was a good thing so we can be sure she is how big she is when we schedule our c-section (yep we are automatic c-section). She DEF likes to lay on her tummy and was not interested in showing us her goods at all. I rolled from side to side while the tech poked and proded and we FINALLY got a shot! She is all GIRL from what we could tell. Audree came along with Brett & I and she watched her baby move on the screen and her eyes just lite up. She lost interest about 5 minutes into though, but she knew that was her baby. They said my placenta looked very good and was in a good location, so guys please pray this means it stays INTACT throughout the WHOLE pregnancy this go around. She doesn't have a name yet, as daddy and I can't decide on one. Audree said her name should be chip haha we were at lunch eating on the border. I LOVE Adelynn and daddy like Abby. We are trying to stick with the A's so if you think of any UNIQUE names please send them our way!
They recorded the whole ultrasound so the pics I got I took off the screen from the DVD so sorry they aren't the best quality.
Her little tooshy and showing us she's a girl
Head to rump, your baby is about 5 1/2 inches long (about the length of a bell pepper) and he weighs almost 7 ounces. He's busy flexing his arms and legs — movements that you'll start noticing more and more in the weeks ahead. His blood vessels are visible through his thin skin, and his ears are now in their final position, although they're still standing out from his head a bit. A protective covering of myelin is beginning to form around his nerves, a process that will continue for a year after he's born. If you're having a girl, her uterus and fallopian tubes are formed and in place. If you're having a boy, his genitals are noticeable now, but he may hide them from you during an ultrasound.
How your life's changing:
Hungry? An increase in appetite is pretty common about now. Make it count by choosing meals and snacks that are rich in nutrients instead of empty calories (chips, French fries, candy, and other sweets). Bigger, more comfortable clothes are a must now as your appetite and waistline grow.Your cardiovascular system is undergoing dramatic changes, and during this trimester your blood pressure will probably be lower than usual. Don't spring up too fast from a lying or sitting position or you might feel a little dizzy. From now on, when you do lie down, it's best to lie on your side — or at least partly tilted to one side. (When you lie flat on your back, your uterus can compress a major vein, leading to decreased blood return to your heart.) Try placing a pillow behind you or under your hip or upper leg for comfort.

"Thanks"giving
My husband- I am so thankful for my husband. He is the man that I have always envisioned I would marry and have a family with. Little did I know that when God blessed me with putting him in my life I would receive way more than what I ever thought I needed. H is my rock and my strength. He is my big and my small. He is my day and night, he is my everything. He always knows how to cheer me up when I am down and having a bad moment. He knows the right words to say to me no matter what the situation. I love falling asleep in his arms at night and waking up in them in the morning. I love the way he holds me close and the sense of security and well being he gives me. I love how he always makes me laugh and brings such a huge smile to my face. I love to watch him interact with our daughter and see the love in his eyes for her. Our love for each other is just something that I can not even put into words. 7 years of being with him has made me such a better and stronger person. I could not imagine my life without him being in it.
Our daughter- Where do I begin? I am so thankful that God has blessed us with such an angel. In 2007 when we found out we were expecting, our world changed and in a BIG way. The family of 2 we have lived in for 3 years now became a family of 3. I can remember laying in bed at night wondering what she would look like, how would she act, etc. Little did we know she would arrive 2 months early and show us exactly everything we were thinking. Feb 11 2008 our little angel made her appearance and our lives were completely changed. Seeing our own flesh and blood was the most amazing thing we’ve ever experienced. 21 months later its still the most amazing thing we’ve ever seen. I love watching her grow everyday. I love hearing her talk and most of all hearing her say mommy and daddy and of course la loo (love you)! I love to just sit back and watch her be her. Waking up to her smile every morning is a true reminder that there is a God up in heaven.
Our 2nd angel- I am so thankful that God has not only blessed my family and I with one baby, but now a second. I love rubbing my belly and feeling the connection with our 2nd baby (peanut jr, audree was peanut). Feeling the movement and the little kicks it just so amazing. To know that God has created another human being and it is inside of my stomach amazes me. I can not wait to watch my belly grow bigger, feel the big kicks and rolls, and best of all seeing our baby in the next 5 months! I am so thankful that God is giving me this experience and placing another baby into our lives.
My parents- I am so thankful for my parents. I mean without them I do not know where I would be. They are always there for me no matter what time of the day or night. They are there to listen to my problems no matter how big or small. They have always loved me unconditionally and continue to do so. I know I do not say this as often as I should, but I am thankful you are my parents and I am thankful to be your daughter.
My siblings- even though we have fought like cats and dogs in the past, I am thankful that God chose me to be your sister! I would not have it any other way! My brother is like a 2nd father to me. He has always watched over me and and made sure I was okay. He always protected me and still to this day he does. He is the best big brother in the entire world! When we were little, of course I didn't appreciate it, but now I am so thankful for everything he has done for me and continues to do. He has a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off of his back. I am so proud of who he has become and what he does with his life. I am thankful that I get the opporunity to say I love you and you are the such a huge part of my world.
My friends- I am so thankful for all of the times we have shared. The good times and the bad, the laughter and the tears, and just all of the time we spend together. I love all of the inside jokes we have & the private conversations. Without my friends my life would be pretty boring!! Thank you guys for always being there for me
And finally the biggest thing I am thankful for in this life?
My relationship with the Lord. Without him, I would have none of the above! I have never had doubts about the big man upstairs and Ive always believed in him. Even though times got rough, he was and is always there to show me that he is listening to me and he has everything under control. I put all of my fears and worries into his hands and he always lets me know he is going to make everything okay. God is always there showing me new things and a new light and I am thankful to have him and his guidance.
Now that you know what I am thankful for I'll leave you with this question:
What are you thankful for this season?

Out with the old, In with the new
As happy as I am to be moving to a new home in a way better neighborhood and school district, I am very sad. This was mine & Brett's first home. We moved in the week after we got married as well as this is Audree's first home. Ive cried many tears (yes I know Im crazy) but in reality it is really sad to me.
BUT........... out with the old and in with the new right? Our inspection ont he new house is set for Thursday. I am going to try to get in and take pics so I can post some for yall!!
Saturday Football
Friday I went to Motherhood and found a 3/4 length sleeve shirt and headed to Michaels and got some iron on letters and rhinestones. I made me a shirt that says Future Longhorn and it had an arrow pointing down to my belly! I got several compliments on it!
We got there a hr and a half before the game so we could watch the Horns warm up. It was a little chilly at first, but Mr Sun finally came out and made it a veyr beautiful day outside. Once the game began it was immediatley a blow out in my eyes, of course who can really play well against the Horns? Going into half time the score was 40 to nothing, yes folks you read that right, 40 to NOTHING!! Brett headed down at halftime to stretch his legs and when he came back he was so excited to show us pictures he snapped of Roger Clemens. I didn't know who he was off the bat, but I finally figured him out. He was a past longhorn and then he went on to play for the Yankees and the Red Soxs.
The 2nd half was pretty uneventful, the horns put there like 20th string backups in (haha okay so like there 4th and 5th strings) and believe it or not Baylor's 1st strings were still struggling to keep up. Baylor finally scored 2 touchdowns and the final score was 47-14.
After the game we headed to my inlaws to pick up our little angel girl. We talked about bringing her to the game, but in the end we decided she probably wouldn't sit still long enough to watch. We ate dinner with my inlaws (we ordered Rosati's YUMMY) and then headed to Blockbuster to rent "The Ugly Truth". We came home, Audree went to bed, we watched the movie (I actually stayed awake for the entire movie which is a shocker!!!) and off we went to bed.
Today we are just lying low and having a lazy family day since yesterday was pretty jam-packed. Hope everyone had a great weekend!
17 Weeks
How your baby's growing:
Your baby's skeleton is changing from soft cartilage to bone, and the umbilical cord — her lifeline to the placenta — is growing stronger and thicker. Your baby weighs 5 ounces now (about as much as a turnip), and she's around 5 inches long from head to bottom. She can move her joints, and her sweat glands are starting to develop.
How your life's changing:
Starting to feel a bit off balance? As your belly grows, your center of gravity changes, so you may begin to occasionally feel a little unsteady on your feet. Try to avoid situations with a high risk of falling. Wear low-heeled shoes to reduce your risk of taking a tumble; trauma to your abdomen could be dangerous for you and your baby. You'll also want to be sure to buckle up when you're in a car — keep the lap portion of the seat belt under your belly, drawn snugly across your hips, and also use the shoulder harness, which should fit snugly between your breasts. You may also notice your eyes becoming drier. Using over-the-counter lubricating drops may help. If your contact lenses become uncomfortable, try wearing them for shorter stretches of time. If you still have discomfort, switch to glasses until after you give birth.

Goofball
16 Weeks
Heartburn has seemed to give me a break this week which is always so nice! I can't stand the chalky taste of them, even the flavored ones! I lived off of these with Audree and was even put on Zantac 75 because it was so bad.
Belly is DEF growing and some days I feel like I am HUGE for 16 weeks and some days I feel like I'm NORMAL size for 16 weeks.
As for the movement and flutters, Im still feeling them and it feels like peanut jr is tap dancing on my uterus! I'll feel movement and then it seems like several days will go by before I feel the baby move again.
Audree gets really excited to hear the baby, we listen to him or her every night before bed. She runs in the living room and tells Brettt "Daddy mere mere, baby" over and over until he comes in there. Its really cute and I have to get it on video!! Audree likes to help find the baby and hold the doppler. When she hears the baby's heartbeat she says "Shhh.... baby" haha She is way to cute!! Here are some pics of her helping find the baby. I use Cocoa Butter instead of the doppler gel because I actually hear it better with the lotion.
Get ready for a growth spurt. In the next few weeks, your baby will double his weight and add inches to his length. Right now, he's about the size of an avocado: 4 1/2 inches long (head to rump) and 3 1/2 ounces. His legs are much more developed, his head is more erect than it has been, and his eyes have moved closer to the front of his head. His ears are close to their final position, too. The patterning of his scalp has begun, though his locks aren't recognizable yet. He's even started growing toenails. And there's a lot happening inside as well. For example, his heart is now pumping about 25 quarts of blood each day, and this amount will continue to increase as your baby continues to develop.
How your life's changing:
The top of your uterus is about halfway between your pubic bone and your navel, and the round ligaments that support it are thickening and stretching as it grows. You're probably feeling a whole lot better as you settle into pregnancy, too. Less nausea, fewer mood swings, and "glowing" skin contribute to an overall sense of well-being.Soon you'll experience one of the most wonderful moments of pregnancy — feeling your baby move. While some women notice "quickening" as early as 16 weeks, many don't feel their baby move until about 18 weeks or more. (And if this is your first baby, don't be too impatient — you may not be aware of your baby's movements until 20 weeks or so.) The earliest movements may feel like little flutters, gas bubbles, or even like popcorn popping. Over the following weeks they'll grow stronger and you'll be able to feel them much more frequently.

Treat Please.....
We started out by visiting Nonna & Granddad (my mom & stepdad) and Nana (Audree's great g-ma). This was her first stop and practice round of saying trick or treat. Then we went to Pa Pa & Grammy's (Brett's parents). She got a little trick or treat basket with a halloween bear that she ♥ ed. We got to see cousin La (Laura) in her spider witch costume!
Our last stop for the grandparents was Pop Pop (my dad). We decided we would try to trick or treat for a little bit around their neighborhood, but barley any houses had their lights on. We went to about 5 houses then we headed home.
When we turned down our street, it was PACKED! I mean there were kids and cars everywhere!! So we parked the car and started trick or treating around our neighborhood! I held Audree's pumpkin until we got up to the houses because it was too heavy for her haha. Brett knocked on the door and then Audree would say Treat "peas" Everyone was saying how cute she was haha she said forget the trick part, she just wanted the treats! haha After they put the candy in her pail she would say thank you! Hey atleast my kid has manners right?!?!
We got home around 7:45 that evening. We had to get home to watch UT kick OSU's rear! We handed out some candy at our house, but it didn't last long. Seriously, we lasted for about 15 minutes and they WIPED us out! We had atleast 15 to 20 kids each time we opened the door, I swear they just come by the car load! Audree was SOOO tired! We watched about 20 minutes of the game then off I went to take Audree to bed. Little did I know we would both be asleep within 15minutes haha
Here are some pics from the night. Audree would NOT look at the camera and smile for anything!! I got 1 good picture of her.
Giving Nana Hugs
I just love her
Our family! My belly is DEF getting out there
