Thanksgiving

Well another Thanksgiving has come and gone, time is just flying this year! We had 3 thanksgiving's and we were STUFFED!!

Thanksgiving morning we woke up and made a Praline Pumpkin Dessert. Little Miss Audree had to help of course, she LOVES baking so she was so excited! The dessert smelled up the entire house and it smelled soooo wonderful!

We had 2 thanksgivings on Thursday at my grandmother's and his parents. All the food there was wonderful! My nana gets a smoked turkey every year and it is my favorite!! I even carved the turkey this year, which was a sight to see :) His parents had a TON of food as always and it was delicious as well. His mom (okay his dad), mad an AWESOME green bean casserole! It was so delicious and his sister made an amazing brocolli cheese casserole!

That evening we went home and put our christmas tree up and had family over to watch some football! The kids played and had an awesome time!

The movie was so cute, I loved it! Everytime we see a commerical on tv, Audree says look mommy its Rapunzel, I ♥ her!! HAHAHAHA

Tis The Season to be THANKFUL

Every year at Thanksgiving I like to reflect on my life and list the things that I am thankful for. There are so many things that I am thankful for and so joyful that God has blessed me with.
1. My wonderful husband.

He has been by my side throughout the last 8.5 years and I couldn't ask for a better man. I could not imagine my life without him, he is what makes me whole. He has made me laugh, wiped my tears, hugged me tight, watched me succeed, seen me fail, cheered me on, kept me going strong. My husband is a promise from God that I will have a friend for life.

2. My amazing daughters

I knew that I would always love being a mother but I never ever in my life imagined it would be this wonderful. God has blessed me with the two most precious little girls that have ever walked this Earth. I love waking up to their smiling little faces every morning. I love hearing the coos & babbles, the I love you's & hearing mommy 1000+ times a day. I love watching them grow, play, talk, & sleep. I love everything about them! they are my entire world and without them I would be lost. I am VERY thankful for God's little blessings to my husband & I!

3. My siblings

I am thankful that God blessed me with 2 brothers and a sister. I know some of you are thinking 2 brothers? My first brother passed away at birth so I never met him, but he is always in my heart. I often think of Ronnie and how he would have been. What kind of brother would he have been? How would have we gotten along? What would he have looked like? His personality? etc. We defitnely have an angel watching over us.

My brother Chris. What can I say.... we have had our fair share of ups and downs just like any other brother and sister have had. I love my brother more than anyone could ever imagine. I look up to him in so many aspects in life. He was a father figure to me when we were growing up. He has always looked out for me and wanted the best in my life. He has such a special place in my heart. He is a role model to me and I hope I can show him one day just how much he means to me.

My little sister! WOW where do I start! My sister & I are TOTAL opposites, we are day & night it seems like at times. We aren't as close as I wish we could be but we are working on that. When my little sister was born she was my life size baby doll. I played with her, held her, fed her, changed her diapers and at the first sound of an ooohhh or ahhh i was up trying to get her out of her crib. I can't believe that 18 years has gone by and she is now an adult. I am very proud of who she is today, although I may not agree with some of her decisions in life she is my sister and i am THANKFUL for her.

4. My Parents
I am not only lucky enough to have a mom and dad but i also have been blessed with a stepmom & stepdad! My parents are a huge part of my life. They are there for me no matter what time of day I need them! Whether is 2:30 in the morning and 3 in the afternoon. They support me in whatever decisions I choose to make in life and have always backed me 150%. they have been there with me through the thick and thin in my life and they will never ever know how grateful I am for them.

5. My Inlaws & Niece

I have the best in laws anyone could ever ask for. They are just like a mother, a father, a sister and a brother to me. Since the day Brett & I got together they have treated me just like family. They have been there for me when I was going through tough times, supported me through the good times and have just been amazing to me. I am thankful that God has blessed me with such a supportive extended family.

My amazing little niece Laura. She is such a smart little girl and has a huge heart. She is growing up so fast and I can't believe she is already 8.5 years old. I can still remember the day she was born. I was so excited to get home from cheerleading camp to see her and hold her! She has become such a wonderful little girl. We love her soooo much.
