Big Girl Room

We have been in the process of converting Audree's room into a ::GULP:: big girl room. Of course she wanted a zebra theme just like her Aunt Kistin. Last weekend we went and bought her the new bedding she wanted, as well as come curtains. This past weekend we bought her her lamp, a light switch cover, flowers & a vase, and some new ribbon for her letters.


Her room is coming along and I have to admit its pretty stinking cute. She is getting some more zebra things this weekend for her birthday from my sister. AND her big present is her new flast screen tv. She has been asking for one because she wants to hang it on her wall, but not so sure if we are going to do that. We are thinking about getting her a new dresser thats taller and putting it on there. Oh decisions, decisions!

After we buy our shed in a few weeks, it will then be Ashlyns turn. We will be making the office/playroom into Ashlyn's room. Of course she will most likely not sleep in it for some time, but just a sense of them having their own room. I haven't decided what I want to do for Ashlyns. I am really liking the black and pink theme's right now, I just think the colors go so well together. I am loving the Paris themes and Im thinking it would go pretty good.

Rededication

On Sunday January 15 I rededicated my live to the Lord. For the past few months, Ive had this strong pull in my heart. There are emotions that I can't even begin to tell you how they feel, all I can tell you is its the Holy Spirit living in me. Its an AMAZING feeling to have, and I know that the Lord has blessed me. He has listened to my prayers, and Ive found him again.

I was baptized through water immersion, which was truly breath-taking. You get into a "swimming pool" as Audree called it, the pastor will say a small prayer, dunk you under water, and then you come up. I was very nervous because I was like ok how will this go, how long will i be under water, etc. It was over in a split second. When I came up, it literally took my breath away. It was such an awesome event for my family & I.

Ashlyns Baptism.......

Saturday January 14, my sweet little Ashlyn dedicated her life to the Lord. It was truly an emotional night for myself. To see my children give their lift to the Lord is just something that is truly magical in itself.

Our whole (immediate) family came in to join us on this special day in our lives.

I have put myself and our family back into the Lord in the past few months. I have had so much emotion running in my heart & I know its the Holy Spirit. This make me so happy and we are such in a happy place in our life!!

Memories

I was sitting here thinking about all of the memories I have. I have to say I have lived an absolute wonderful life. Sure its had its up and downs, the goods and bads, but overall I am very blessed.

Our wedding, oh how this was the best day of my life. I married my best friend and couldn't be any happier. I love this man with all of my heart and soul.

Our trip to Mexico with The Pifers in 2007. My first out of country experiance and only 2nd time flying. We had soooooo much fun. We woke up every morning to paradise. Even when it rained it didn't stop us from going.

My cheerleading days in high school. Oh how I miss these. We were such a close group of girls who were the best of friends. We knew just about, if not everything, about each other. We spent more time with each other than our own families it seemed like. We have so many memories together that I will never forget.

My brother! Oh I just love and adore my brother to pieces. Sure we fought like cats and dogs with each other, but we had so many good times together. Sometimes I wish we could rewind time .

Our first wedding anniversary. WOW... just to think we are celebrating our 7th anniversary here in just 3 months!!! We celebrated by going to Austin for the weekend. We stayed at a bed and breakfast and just had to the best time together.

The birth of our amazing 2 daughters. My life forever changed once we found out we were pregnant with them. I can't even put into words how much these girls mean to me.
