What A Friday Night

Well I started out the night by crying my eyes out for Audree. I felt so bad because I didn't see her all day because I was at work and only saw her for about 30 minutes before she went back to my mom's. I HATE leaving Audree, and feel guilty for it. I know that I need time alone with Brett and we need to do things just as a couple, but it absolutley kills me!!

We went and picked up Zach and Tiffany and headed to Ninfa's!! They told us it wouild be a 2 HOUR, yes you read that right 2 HOUR WAIT!! So we were like well we will just stick it out. We were waiting on some other friends to come so we just sat in the bar until they came. It was Brett & I, Tiff & Zach, James & Ash, Shane & Christina, James G, and Cameron. We all ate dinner and had a blast!! Me and Tiff had something called a spider man and I have to say it was pretty darn tasty!

After dinner we headed down to Crickets to hang out about before we headed home for the night! We watched the guys play some darts then we played shuffleboard, which tiff and i are horrible at might I add!! HAHA Some of us had more to drink than others (COUGH COUGH you know who you are haha) but we had such a wonderful time hanging out with our friends!

They cheer me up if I get down, they are always there to listen to me, we can laugh at absolutley nothing, or we can laugh at the stupidest things! So today I stopped and thought how BLESSED I am to have the friends that I have in my life!!

Then I thought hmmm...... well how many foes do I have in my life? Here is the answer to that question for yall. In my eyes I have no foes; why you ask? Because I could care LESS what those people think about me. I do not live my life to please you, I do not think about you, and to be honest I really dont care what you do. Am I civil with these so called foes? Why sure, Im not going to waste my life away thinking about what you do. Now this does not mean that i like everybody I come into contact with because the good Lord knows that isn't true, but Ill be nice to you, why not? Mom always said kill em with kindness!

For Sale!!

Okay so our house is now up for sale!! We met with a realtor tonight and are super duper excited, yet very scared about it. She told us on average it will take 6-8 months to sell, so im trying not to get my hopes up! Gosh this whole experiance is going to freak me out, but hopefully in a good way so we can move into a bigger house and expand our little family!! Email me for more details :o)

Afternoon Fun With Aunt Tiffany

Last Thursday Aunt Tiffany picked Audree up and they spent the afternoon together. Tiffany is the BEST AUNT Audree could have ever asked for. She is so sweet to her and Audree ♥ her and Uncle Zach to pieces. AND we get to spend ALL weekend with them this coming weekend!! YAY

Weekend

Well we had another EXCITING weekend!!

Friday morning I went down to MCC and took my Nursing Entrance Test. Afterwards I went to Curves and worked my hiney off! I went to get Audree from my mom's and off we went to see the girls @ EMSI. They couldn't believe how much Audree has grown. After that I went and picked my sissy up from school and we went job hunting for her. She applied @ Rue 21 and Claire's so keep your fingers crossed she gets one of them :o) I also printed out Audree's invitations to her 1st bday party, they are SO ADORABLE if I do say so myself! We went to Poppa Rollo's with the Pifers and came home to watch Saw 5. It was a little on the CONFUSING side if you ask me.

Saturday we woke up and played around the house with Audree. Then we went to Target, Toys R Us, Blockbuster and Uncle Dans! My dad, stepmom and sissy came over for a bit and played with Audree Loo. Then it was time to head off to church. We came home and watched My Best Friends Girl, It was HILIARIOUS! Brett got into the hot tub and I headed for bed, Im an old person haha

Today we didn't do too much, its our LAZY day! Brett took me and Aud to breakfast at IHOP, yeah totally not good for my diet haha Then Audree and I came home and took a nap while Brett painted the hallway. Now we are just hanging out.

Well Im proud to say Audree is now a CRUISER!! She is holding on to things like the table or couch and is walking by it while holding on to the furniture.

Well Santa brought Audree a grocery cart for Christmas. She has played with it here and there, but hasn't been into to much. But since she is practicing walking she loves this thing!! Tonight she went grocery shopping and bought some things haha but as you can see she was trying to eat them too!!

Curves

So I wasnt happy with my results from week 1 weigh in... YEAH I GAINED .2 pounds!! I was so mad and upset it was unreal. I mean here I am eating fruits and veggies, not going over my points, worked out 5 days last week and gained .2 lbs!! So this week I joined Curves hoping this would boost me up in the weigh loss department. I went in today and had a lot of fun!! Its circuit training and each machine is 30 seconds long and you do the whole round 2 times. You push yourself as hard as you can for the whole 30 seconds, but you dont get tired of the machines because you aren't on them very long. The lady took my measurements and I about passed out.... I could not believe that those were MY numbers! We sat down and talked about goals and what size jeans I would like to be in. In order for me to get in that size I have to lose 32 inches overall and 30 pounds, but my goal is 40, Ill be back to high school weight then. Its a HUGE challenge but I am VERY READY for this!! Wish me luck that I lose more at this week's weigh in

Im A BIG Girl Now

So Santa Clause brought Audree a Barbie Jeep Power Wheels for Christmas. She played with it, but couldn't figure out how to make it go by herself. Yesterday we played with it and the same thing happened, she couldn't understand that you had to hold the button down to make it go. Well yesterday afternoon she had a change of heart and we couldn't stop her! She was going all over the house.... Of course she ran into everything: the walls, the table, her kitchen set, etc. It was so funny to watch her. She wasn't even paying attention to where she was going. Eventually she got a little dare devil in her and stood up while riding. YES WE ARE GOING TO HAVE OUR HANDS FULL!!! Here are some videos of her:

Valentines Day

Well I am SUPER DUPER EXCITED!! Brett is taking me to Cheeves Brother's Steakhouse in Temple for dinner. I can't wait... it'll just me and Brett, although I am sad because I wanted to bring my swee baby girl. Everyone said we just need to have "us" time... We haven't been out but 2 times with just the 2 of us and that was for only about 2 hours at the most. We dont like to be away from our baby. It'll be hard, but I know we will have a great time!! I have the best husband ever!!

Bye Weekend Hello Work Week

I can't believe this weekend has already come and gone!!!

Saturday I woke up and went into work for 5 or so hours. When I got off I came home, jumped in the shower, went to church and then we met up with Zach and Tiffany for dinner at Outback! We haven't ate their in such a long time, and I remember why haha it was expensive, but it sure was TASTY!! I had a 6 oz steak with baked potato & some green beans and Brett has some kind of Tilapia. Tiffany had a smoretini and it was yummy, you should have seen her trying to get the chocolate out of the glass (should have used your toes haha inside joke). Afterwards we went back to Zach and Tiff's and watched Pineapple Express, word to the wise ITS STUPID!! I fell asleep with Audree on the couch off and on, I just couldn't keep my eyes open. Zach started snoring during the movie too, he literally went from laughing his butt of to snoring in like 2 min. We got home around 11:30 and I was so ready for bed!!

Today we are smoking out brisket and ribs and then may be going to Zach & Tiff's to watch the Steelers (BARF sorry Tiff) play.

This week will be busy!! We are pretty busy at work and Friday I take the NET (Nursing Entrace Test). Also Audree's Bday party is just 2.5 weeks away AHHHHHHH

Well Audree's decorations came in this morning and Im so excited!! I haven't seen them yet, because I had them shipped to my mom's house!! AHHH I can't believe they are here! 3 weeks from tomorrow itll be her party!!

Also I think I may be having a change of heart on the cake. Im think I may want to do a sheet cake and have a pic of her in the NICU and then a pic now. What do yall think?

HAHA She was posing by the laundry basket for me, then tonight I busted out the camera again. She was acting like a dog haha She put her sock in her mouth and was crawling around the house. Audrey Caroline

I follow a blog of a woman I have never met, but she is someone who inspires me. She had a little girl named Audrey Caroline one day after Audree's due date and well they have the same name. During her pregnancy Audrey was diagnosed with several conditions: Her kidneys are poly cystic and her heart is much too large. Each of these is a lethal condition. There is no amniotic fluid, her lungs are not developing, etc. She was not expected to live. They told the mom that she should abort the pregnancy, but she knew in her heart it was not the right thing to do. She continued to carry the pregnancy knowing her child had little to no chance of survival. They had to make funeral arragements for their child before she was even brought into this world and think of all the horrific things that could happen. I can not imagine the pain and hurt they go through. Audrey Caroline was born weighing in at 3 lbs 2 oz (her daddy's birthday is 3-2), but she only lived for 2 and a half hours before she went to meet God. She continues to blog about several things that happen in their lives as well as her feelings about little audrey. I URGE you to read this blog from beginning to end ( I did one night and it seemed like I was on forever), but she just inspires me so much. The mother put together a video and I sat at my computer tonight and bawled my eyes out. The baby is alive at first, even though it does not look like it. Towards the end you will see the nurse take her pulse and nod that she had left this world to be with the Lord.

Klaris Center 11 month check up

Well today was our FINAL Klaris Center checkup. In case yall do not remember what that is, its an early childhood intervention program. Most ALL preemies are referred to them in case they have any development issues. Audree has not had any, but their services are free and I had them keep coming out every 3 months just to make sure everything was going good.

Today the therapist came out and she was so impressed with Audree! She said I can not believe this is the little girl that I first came out and saw 10 months ago. She said she is doing things a 12 and 13 month old should be doing (in reality Audree would only be 9 months ago). She said she is just cruising right along and she thinks she is doing amazing.

She really commended my mom on everything she has been doing with Audree. She said that she is AWESOME with Audree and has really helped with Audree's development. I am so thankful to have the mother I have and that Audree is able to call her, her grandmother. She takes such good care of Audree and always has. I am so thankful Audree gets to stay with her each and every day of the week, I wouldn't have it any other way. Mom, thank you for everything you do for us!! We ♥ you

Well... its ordered

I am so excited!! We just ordered Audree's FIRST birthday supplies!! I can not wait for them to come in. Ive also decided on a cake that is just too adorable!! 11 Months Have Gone By

I can NOT believe that in 1 month from today my precious daughter will be 1 years old. I do not know where the time has gone. I mean seriously... it does not seem like 11 months has gone by. I swear it was just yesterday that I first held her in my arms.

In the past 11 months that have gone by we have learned so much. Who knew something so small and innocent could teach everybody. We have learned:

* How precious life truely is
* She has taught us patience.
* How to laugh at the littlest things
* A kind of ♥ that has no limits
* How to cherish the small things in life
* and so much more

Audree is so amazing to us. Not only is she smart but she is truely a little miracle from God. When we first started our journey I was so scared of how I was going to handle having a preemie. Would we be able to fight through the ups and downs, would she have any set backs and would she be a healthy child. We spent countless days and nights crying our hearts out for God to watch over her and keep her safe. I am very proud to say that Audree has no set backs, she is 150% healthy and is one of the smartest little kids Ive ever seen. She is right on track for where an 11 month old should be and is actually doing things that older children are doing. Audree is just the sweetest little thing in the entire world! She loves snuggling, kisses, playing airplane with daddy, playing with all of her toys (diapers being a favorite haha) and she loves life in general. Lord I thank you every day for blessing us with our angel.

* Eating people food (mashed tators, green beans, chicken, pasta, etc)
* Saying Mama, Dada, and some other alien gibberish haha
* Likes to open and close things (cabinets, doors)

* Repeats Hi after you say it

Her party is set for February 7th. I can't believe Im actually planning her birthday!!

My Day At The Spa

Well Brett and Audree bought me an afternoon to the spa at Canyon Oaks for Christmas. It was for a 1 hour massage, a spa pedicure and get my eyebrows sugard.

I had my relaxing afternoon today after I got off work at 12. I was wondering if I was ever going to get there at first haha Once I walked in, they had relaxing music playing and I knew I was going to be in heaven! They called my name and took my outside to one of their little cabins. I got my massage first and OH MY GOSH was it so relaxing. I thought I was snoring at one point in time hahaha just kidding!! Next came the pedicure and my feet feel like a baby's butt. Finally came my eyebrow sugaring and holy cow I guess they were really bad!! She was pulling, tugging & tweezing on them things, I thought she was going to bust out the chainsaw. HAHA

Anywho my afternoon was very relaxing and Im so thankful for my husband and baby girl who gave me that special present.

TIFF WHEN ARE WE GOING FOR A GIRLS DAY?!?!

Okay so there is 1 thing in this world that I can't stand... People telling you or trying to tell you how to raise your child. Some people may think they are just trying to be helpful but to most people they find it annoying, and for me it really irritates me.Anyone ever experiance this??
Last time I checked I carried Audree inside of my stomach and last time I checked she came out of me.

Being a first time mother you will experiance a lot of things. Some you will know how to handle the situations and some you may be lost with what to do. However, if I do not know what to do or how to handle what is going on with my child I will come to you for advice, I do not want your opinions unless I ask for them and very rarley does that happen. All women have a motherly instinct that kicks in and you just know how to handle them. If I dont know, then I will usually call my mom or dad and say hey what do you think we shoukd do? Brett & I already say Audree wont be allowed to have sodas, candy, etc. We already get the moans and groans and the oh so lovely deep sighs and things said under their breaths. BUT we really do not care, she is ours and if thats how we feel, its how we feel.

This may sound rude and in all honestly its not meant to be. I just dont want anyone telling me how to raise my child. She is mine and Brett's and we will raise her how we would like to. If its not to your liking, sorry about your bad luck.

New Years Resolution In Motion

Well..... I know Ive been saying I was going to lose weight and well I haven't started it yet. Well let me rephrase that I did good for 2 days haha So I said okay Im serious Im doing it. I looked on Weight Watchers Online last night and they have a new program called the momentum.

Out of every diet Ive tried or been on Weight Watchers is the only one that works. I mean you can eat what you want you just have to make a choice to see if its worth it or not. Ive tried doing it on my own but I just can't stick with it. I know nobody will know if I cheated, nobody but me will know if I gained or lost, and well I just couldn't stick with it.

Im very very excited, I was on this before my wedding and dropped 20 pounds in 2.5 months without working out. Im going tomorrow to my first meeting @ 5:30. Ill keep yall up to date. If anyone wants to join me feel free :o)

Netti Pots

Okay so we have been severely congested around my house for about a week now. Weve taken Nyquil, Dimetapp, Afrin, Nasonex, Sudafed, Mucinex and even Antibiotics. NOTHING has helped us!!

When I was at my aunt and uncles a few months ago and wasn't feeling so hot they told me about something that will help clear me up. Of course I was like okay Ill try ANYTHING!! So off we go to the bathroom and they bring me this little tea pot looking thing. I was like what in the heck am I supposed to do with this? My aunt said you stick it in your nose, tilt your head, slowly pour it in and it will come out the other nostril. I died laughing!! #1 of thinking about water coming out of my nose and # 2 the thought of just doing something like that. Anywho I thought what the heck I'll give it a try. It felt REALLY weird at first because water was going in one nostril and coming out the other side. BUT after it was over I felt 150% better!! I COULD ACTUALLY BREATH!!!

So since we have been stopped up with no relief I went to the store tonight and got some for Brett & I to do. I laughed so hard at Brett doing it... he was HILARIOUS!! He laughed almost the whole time too so he had water squirting out of his nose haha I know ya'll are probably just imagining what we do in our spare time hahaa. Anywho he got done with it and said hey that does work!!

So ladies and gents if you are stopped up and can't find relief try it!! I got mine a CVS but you can get them anywhere!! They are called sinu-cleanse or netti pots. IT WORKS!!!

Birthday Weekend

Well my hubby turned 25 Saturday, YES the BIG 2-5!! I told him geez you're an old man now!! HAHA We woke up that morning and I cooked him eggs, bacon, sausage and biscuits (yes I know Im a good wife) haha. After that we showered and got ready for the day. We went to the mall and Brett picked our a UT hat from my mom and he picked out UT shorts from me and Audree. We also went out to eat at Buzzard Billy's (Brett ♥ 's that place). His mom, dad, sister, my mom, stepdad, and Aunt Tiffany and Uncle Zach all went. It was so much fun!! After dinner, we went back to Brett's parents for cake and ice cream. Brett ♥ 's red velvet cake!!

Later that night we went back to Zach and Tiff's and just hung out. We watched a Chris Rock stand up comedy act which was hilarious. We also watched a movie called 1408 it was CREEPY!! BUT it was really really good. Peanut & Ginger (my neices :o) were all over me. We played with their toys, which was A TON, and cuddled on the couch. Aunt Tiffany and Uncle Zach got to play with Audree and have fun. Audree was fighting her sleep though, she didn't want to miss out on any of the action. I finally got her to sleep and we all just sat around and talked. It was so good just hanging out with them and having a OMCD (inside thing). After that we came home and crashed!! Audree slept with us AGAIN, she has been sleeping with us since she got sick Wednesday night. BUT I can't say Im complaining I love cuddling with her.

Birthday Planning= STRESS

Okay so Audree turns 1 in 40 DAYS! Im starting to stress a little because I am having problems deciding on a location. We orignally were gonna have it our house, but then I thought no lets have it somewhere fun. So we tried the mayborn museum=BOOKED, Jumping Party= most of the kiddies would be too young to participate, Peter Pipers= dont care for it, Cameron Park Zoo= TOO COLD?

I already have her party decorations picked out and we will soon be ordering those. Im trying to decide on the cake, YES there are a lot of decisions when it comes to cakes! HAHA We are getting a tiered cake, not a flat sheet and they are a TON of cute designs!

Then comes the decision: Do we make this just family since its her 1st birthday? or do we invite our friends and their kiddos? Im so CONFUSED! Brett wants just family and I completely understand that maybe she does just need her family with her, but at the same time I want her to have her friends there too.

So friends in bloggerland I need your help. Where would you have your child's 1st birthday? Remember her's in Feb so itll be cold outside and our house is only 1500 square feet! Would you invite family only? or would you invite friends? Am I stressing out over something that I shouldn't be stressing out over?

Under the Weather

Well we made it 11 months without Audree getting sick, but our streak has ended :o( I started getting congested earlier this week: coughing, sneezing, stopped up, etc. I tried to stay away from Audree as much as possible because I didn't want her to catch it. New Year's Eve she started getting a runnt nose but I was hoping it wouldn't go any futher than that WRONGO!! She couldn't sleep, can't breath out of her nose and is sneezing. So this morning Brett & I took her to the Dr. She didn't say too much just that it was going around. She prescribed her an antihistimine. We got home, gave her a dose of meds, and fed her lunch. I felt of her forehead and she felt really warm, I took her temp and it was 101.1. AHHHHHHHHH first time my baby has ever had a fever. So I gave her some Motrin and she was out like a light. I feel so sorry for her. She is all stopped up, doesn't feel good, and is WHINEY!! Just keep Audree in your prayers so she can get better soon.

#1 Be the best mother to Audree
#2 Be the best wife to Brett
#3 Drop ATLEAST 20 pounds
#4 Be healthier overall

Its A New Year!!

WOW!! I cant believe that 2008 has come and gone so quick!! It seems like just yesterday we were bring in 2008.

We didn't do too much to ring in 2009. We went out to eat, just the 3 of us and Johnny Carino's was PACKED might I add. After we ate dinner, my dad had invited us over to hang out. Zach and Tiffany couldn't do much since Zach had to work late :o(, but I did eat a piece of tiramusu for her haha. We went to my dad's to hang out with them for a bit. I told Brett geez you know youre old and boring when you bring in the new year with your parents haha, but we had fun! Audree played with my dad and they played with her toys. Audree fell asleep around 9:30 and woke up @ 11. She was ready to party and count down to the ball dropping! Needless to say I ended up falling asleep when she woke up, but everyone made sure to wake me up by 11:30. HAHA Im old..... When it hit midnight Brett and I gave Audree a kiss and we made our way home.

Audree kept us up most of the night (no she wasn't partying) she is all stopped up. She couldn't suck on her passy because she couldn't breath out of her nose. Audree can NOT sleep if she doesn't have her passy in ( I know I know). So I was up half the night rocking & bouncing her. She whined off and on all night long, I guess we finally got our dose of having an actual baby. HAHA Audree is the BEST baby who very rarely cries and fusses. I ended up giving her a bottle around 2:30 am and dosed her up with some motrin. This morning she seems better, just still really stuffy. Ive been giving her motrin and sucking out her nose which might I add SHE HATES WITH A PASSION!!

My baby will turn 1 years old this year AHHHHHHHHHHHH I can't believe it. It seems like just yesterday she was born. Brett & I will also be celebrating another birthday BOOOO, I HATE getting older. We are also both still continuing our education this year.
