Audree is now BAPTIZED

WOW!! What a VERY busy day we had as a family! We woke up this morning and I was so excited because I knew today was Audree's BIG day! We did a little clothes shopping with her, went and hung out at Nana's for a bit, then we came home to get ready! Audree fit PERFECT in her little dress we bought her and tears came to my eyes. She looked just like a little angel.

Her Baptism went VERY VERY well!!! My whole family was there to partcipate in this special day with us as well as Brett's father, mother and his sister. Brett, Myself, Zach & Tiff all stood up while the Baptism took place. We Wayne, the pastor, asked us several questions about raising Audree in a Christian home, if we were Christians, etc. He also asked the congregation if they would agree to help us raise Audree with Christian values as well. Wayne then took Audree and walked around the church and was saying very sweet things. Wayne came back up to the front and it was time for Audree to be spinkled with water. When Wayne sprinkled the water on her head she made the cutest face and the whole congregation started laughing. It was so stinking cute! She did GREAT throughout the whole thing!! After it was over, Audree decided it was too much and she needed to take a nap through the rest of the service! After service we took TONS of pictures and I can't wait to see how they turned out!! When everything was over we all went out to eat at Lake Brazos Steakhouse! I have a FEW pics of the service today, but they didn't turn out too great!!

Audree Baptism

Well the BIG day is getting closer and we are getting WAY excited!! Audree is being Baptized this Saturday at First United Methodist Church. We have been attending church for 2 or so months now, we joined last week, and now little missy will be Baptized in less than 3 days!! I am so excited for her to have this done! Some say she is too little to even know what this means, you know yes she may be too little, but Audree will be raised in a Christian home and I want her to know Christian values, what God wants in life for us, etc.

Zach and Tiffany, Audree's Godparents, will be standing up with us during her Baptism. Zach and Tiffany have played a big important part of Audree's life. During my pregnancy, Tiffany bought me a book and a pregnancy journal to keep up with everything that was going on with Audree while inside of me. Tiffany was there with me when I bought the pregnancy test, and she is the 1st person I called after I told Brett I thought we were pregnant. Tiffany rushed to our house and was right there by my side. We went to her house and took a 2nd test to make sure it was a DEF positive. She emailed me to ask how I was feeling and how Audree was doing from day to day. She threw me the best baby shower I could have ever imagined. Her and Zach were there the morning I was having Audree by Emergency C-Section. They came to see Audree while she was in the NICU, they are just so important in our lives. In fact, we just said the other day that if anything were to happen to Brett or I, HEAVEN FORBID IT DOESN'T, Zach and Tiffany would have full custody of Audree. I know they would raise her in a great home and environment and love her as if she were one of their own. Zach and Tiffany we love you!!!

Squash.....

Well since Audree has eaten carrots for a whole week without any reactions to it, we were able to move on to a new food tonight. It was a toss up between sweet potatoes and squash. So I held the 2 choices out in front of Audree and her hands went to the squash. When I opened the container WHEW I got a big whif of the squash and let me tell you it did NOT smell good. I prepared myself for the worst, but Audree did GREAT!! At first she made a funny face and stuck her tongue out, but after that she was licking those lips!! Audree Being A Goofball

So Little Miss Priss has started to laugh when you laugh. It is HILIARIOUS!! She has also started to have fun with peek-a-boo. The other night I was playing peek-a-boo with her and I would say Where's Audree??? Then i would turn around real fast and say BOO there she is! She would jump then just die laughing!! Here is a clip we caught of her. Of course when she saw the camera she quit doing it like she was before we had the camera out, but I still think its cute. I wish I could bottle her laugh up and keep it that way forever!

We are now memeber of First United Methodist Church. Most of you know that Brett, Audree and myself have been attending services for about 2 months now. We finally made the decision that we are ready to joina nd become active in our church community. I can't wait to continue to raise Audree in a Christian home and environment. Here is the picture that was taken on Sunday. Audree isn't looking at Wayne though, she was being a stinker!



Audree will also be dedicating her life to God this weekend on August 30th @ 5:30 PM!

Big Girl CarSeat

After Audree's 6 month dr appt we were told she could move up to a BIG girl carseat! So that weekend we went shopping. We took Audree to Toys R Us and let her sit in all the carseats. Of course she told us which ones she liked and which ones she didn't like. So we picked 2 carseats out and off we went. She looks like such a BIG girl now

6 Month Pictures

Well i can't believe my baby is 6 months old. We went and got her pictures taken and I absolutley loved them. She was in a good mood that day THANK GOODNESS!! She cooperated very well with the photographer! Of course we had to buy every pose in every size! HA my mom and dad's house in going to be covered in 8X10 and 10X13's of little miss priss. My brother even said he would put up a 5X7 of her at his work which made me SOO happy!!! Of course our house is already covered with her!

Carrots Anyone?

So last week was Audree's first time to taste carrots! I was super duper excited to feed them to her. She didn't know what to think about them at first, but she learned to love them!! Here are some pics from her trying them.
