My First Love

I can say yes Ive told some past boyfriends I love you, but did I really mean it??? NOPE! However I can honestly say when I said I love you to my first TRUE love I meant it. My first TRUE love...... ahhhhh lets take a stroll down memory lane shall we? (imagine Wayne's World right now and Garth & Wayne are saying do do do do do do do while shaking their hands).

Brett & I met back when I was in 5th grade and he was in 6th grade. We rode the same school bus. I always knew he had the "hots" for me even when i was a young one lol We never really talked as I think we were both too shy.

When I was a sophomore in high school Brett would always come back a few minutes early from lunch and come to the table my friends & I sat at to hang out before going back to school. One day he came in with a dozen roses and I thought AWE how sweet he brought someone roses. Well he brought someone roses alright and that person was ME! He asked me to homecoming and of course I said yes. That was our first actual date! We went to applebees with a group of friends after the game and then we headed on home. I remember Brett was driving his truck with his arm around me. He asked me to turn the radio down and me being stubborn said no way! Next thing I new there were lights flashing in the review mirror, YEP a cop pulled us over. You see when Brett reached to turn the radio down he swerved a little bit and the cop thought we had been drinking. We both swore there was no drinking and were just on our first date lol After that he dropped me off at home and we said our goodbyes. We had tried dating after that but it just didn't work, we went our seperate ways.

We both started dating other people and they ended up being long relationships. I had broke up with my boyfriend in Novemeber of 2001 and Brett & I started hanging out again. We got really close and he was even taking me to school every morning and dropping me off afterwards. We hung out on the weekends but just as really good friends. February 2002 the cheerleaders made homemade cookies, decorated and passed them out so we could raise money for our upcoming trip to Florida. Well while passing out cookies that day I saw Brett had gotten one, however it was for another girl GASP!!!! Another girl?!?! This isn't happening he is supposed to like me and nobody but me!! So after I delivered that cookies, full of jealousy of course, I was determined he would not asking her out anytime soon (yes i know i am evil hahaha). That night I called to see what he was up to and we went out together and had a really good time!

The next Monday morning ( a few days after Valentines Day) I woke up to my mom telling me to come here. I got up and came outside where she was standing. There was a HUE teddy bear, flowers and a box of chocolates that read "I know this is a little late but you will always be my Valentine" After that my friends it was all they wrote!

He had my ♥ We officially started dating March 1 2002 and are still together. We got engaged Dec 20, 2003, married April 9, 2005 had our first born 2/11/08 & our second born 4/14/2010. I dont know where I would be without Brett. He is the most amazing husband and father that anyone could ever ask for!!

Day 2- Meaning Behing Your Blog Name

Hmmm... The Buechel Family.........Well its nothing fancy really lol just out last names! I know I know so original but I wasn't really thinking about a "clever" name when I made this blog way back when I started my blog back in 2007 when a friend of mine started one. It was a good way to communicate to family that didn't live here. I actually love keeping a "diary" in a way esp of things my girls do. This way I can always come back and say oh this is what we did on this day. I also love reading blogs, and love getting to know people through here. Blogger is a way to keep up with friends, family or anyone really. So yep that's it, not an exciting post lol

** My sister in law did something called a 30 day posts that is supposed to help you get better at blogging, and since Ive been slacking lately I thought this would be a grand time to do. Basically you post 1 blog everyday for 30 days over specific topics that are already outlined. FEEL FREE TO JOIN IN :)** My name is Apryle I graduated high school (GULP..... almost 8 years ago ahhhhhhhhh). I have been employed at my present job for almost 4 years now. I have been married for almost 6 years now to my high school sweetheart and we've been together for 9. Out of out marriage we have 2 amazingly gorgeous daughters who are our entire world. I have 1 brother and 1 sister who I love to pieces! I also am blessed to have such an amazing mother, father, step mom, stepdad & inlaws!

15 Interesting facts about me: (you may not think they are interesting though lol)

1. My children are my entire world. I hate being away from them, even the short 8 hours while I am at work.

2. I'm a sucker for cake shows. One day I want to be able to decorate cakes and goodies like "Buddy"

3. I tend to run behind no matter where I am going and what I am doing. I will try my hardest to be early and somehow I never make that goal.

4. I have been on a diet since January (well ive tried to be hardcore lol) I have lost 10 pounds but can't seem to break the 10 pound mark

5. I am a crazy driver, no lie. I have severe road rage and hate to be behind cars. WATCH OUT WORLD!

6. I enjoy cooking, however I rarely cook because my hubby has dinner ready for me every night when i walk in the door from work

7. I am weird about planning my children's birthday parties. I stress & stress trying to make things perfect for them. I literally plan them for months and my mind is constantly thinking about it!

8. I can talk in a British voice all day and people who do not know me actually think that is my accent. Its pretty hilarious to do in public (however i don't discriminate i like all accents)

9. I had a placenta abruption with my first born, which caused her to be 2 month early. Some may not think this is interesting, but it only occurs on 1% of all pregnancies. Who would have thought I would have gotten it?!?!

10. I like to randomly bust out and sing a song, especially to my co-workers haha they love it!

11. I win a lot of things off the radio. Seriously I can call in and win almost every time (unless its something I really want to win hahaha)

12. I could not live without my cell phone. I am lost without it and if I leave home and realize its not with me I will turn around just to get it no matter how far away I am.

13. I can not go to sleep if my husband is not home. When he has to work a 3am-3pm shift I will literally wake up and just stare at the ceiling.

14. I have to have my toenails painted. I can not stand them not being painted with color or with white tips!

15. When I was pregnant (both times) I absolutely loved it. Some people complain their pregnancy was horrible, esp at the end, but both of mine were amazing! Knowing that there was a life inside of me and I was the only one that could provide for them just warms my heart. I loved feeling the kicks, the rolls, the hiccups, etc. Don't get me wrong i love having my girls here but sometimes I miss those little times. They are times I will always cherish and never ever forget!

Fun Times

This past weekend was so beautiful and I wanted to get the girls outside and have some fun! We took them to a local "park" that has been around since I was a kid. They have kiddie rides, a train as well as mi nature golf and go karts.

Audree was in heaven (which doesn't take much to get her there lol) Anywho the girls had a blast! I am so ready for more warm days so we can spend out times and weekends outside

Prayers for Nana

Last Thursday my Nana was admitted to the hospital. After tests and scans were ran on her we found out she had a bowel obstruction. She had a NG tube placed in her nose and running down into her intestines. Basically what they were trying to do with this is pull as much as they could out of her intestines to see if the bowel would unobstruct. She has this NG tube in for 24 hours and had another CT scan. It showed that the bowel was still obstructed so the decision was made for surgery.

Everyone was very scared and nervous as my nana isn't in the best of health and we were all terrified of her under going anesthesia. However she pulled through like a champ, and did wonderful through surgery. They had to remove 4 inches of her bowel because it was so damaged. She has been in SICU since Friday evening and will remain there for a little bit. She is in a lot of pain but in very good hands. They finally got her out of bed yesterday morning and she sat up for a bit before getting back into bed.

Birthday!

Well I turned the BIG 2-6 last Tuesday!

I am one that dreads birthdays, I just dislike turning older especially knowing im getting closer to 30 it really drags me down :( BUT I always make the best of it and have a great birthday!

The Saturday before my birthday my whole family (which is like 20 of us lol) went out to Johnny Carinos and enjoyed a nice dinner! Its so nice having all of my family together at one place at the same time! After dinner we went back to my inlaws house and had cake and ice cream which was DELICIOUS!

Tuesday I woke up to my beautiful little girls telling me happy birthday! Audree was just so excited that it was birthday! I must have heard Happy Birthday a million and one times :) Brett & the girls gave me a mini spa package which I can't wait to book! Audree also made me a cake in her easy bake oven, which wasn't half bad! Brett bought me an ice cream cake which was oh so yummy as well.
