News!!

I have been meaning to post this picture of Ashlyn, but I kep forgetting! Ashlyn is officially sitting up by herself! I knew she would be doing this early because she HATES sitting back. SHe wants to sit up and see everything that is going on. She sits up for a pretty good amount of time by herself, before she starts leaning.

Also she got her first little tooth this weekend! She has been a little on the cranky side and now we know why! Its barely through the skin, but its there!

A New Adventure

Well we have moved on from ballet to gymnastics!! Ballet was fun dont get me wrong, but it was a little too slow for Audree.

Last night was her very first class. She was shy at first and didn't really want to do anything. I went out there with her and asked her if I could go back in the waiting room with daddy. She shook her head yes and I about had a heart attack! Anywho who knows my kid knows she is stuck to us like a leech, especially when she is somewhere she isn't familiar with. The viewing area is nothing but big glass windows so we can see her and she can see us.

She did WONDERFUL! She was laughing, playing, & just having a ball with the teacher and other kids. All night she did nothing but talk about gymnastics and how much she loved it. We had to call my mom, my dad, my brother, my sister, etc. She just had to share her news hahaha

Friday Night Fun

this past Friday we met up with Jarvis & Childers for a play date. We went to a local jumping party again because the kids go nuts there!! Its been so hot outside that this place is great because its air conditioned so we dont have to worry about the kids getting so hot.

Audree has a blast everytime we come to this place! She was asking all week is today the day we go to the jumping party? *Note to self never ever tell her were going somewhere until the day of haha*. Ty & Hunter have become our little hang out buddies, & we just love them! I didn't catch many pics of Kolbmister because he was having fun running from slide to slide.

Guess Who's 4 months!!

Wow I can't believe it has been 4 months since our sweet little Ashlyn was born. Somedays I just sit back and think I just had her in my tummy kicking and rolling and listening to her heartbeat. Its hard to fathom that she is just getting so big so quick!

We had her 4 month check up on Monday and we were shocked at her weight gain and growth! She is 15 lbs 9 oz and 25.75 inches long! Needless to say she is in the 95th percentile for her age haha I lookd back at Audree's stats when she was 4 months and she was only 13 lbs 11 oz and 22.5 inches long, Ashlyn blows her out of the water! Dr said she is doing absolutley wonderful which is always a nice thing to hear.

We were told we could try cereal and I was sooooo excited! I loved feeding Audree her cereal and baby food and she loved it too. WEEEEEEELL...... little miss Ashlyn has proved to be different. She snarled her nose, made faces and coughed a few times while eating her cereal. She does NOT like it! So next we are going to try baby oatmeal to see if she likes that better. We wont try baby food baby food until closer to 6 months.

She is trying to roll, she has rolled a few times from her back to her tummy. Yes my child is backwards, most like to roll from their tummy to their back. Ashlyn stops herself when she starts rolling, i think she might be a tad bit scared. She is talking, babbling, cooing, laughing, smiling and any thing else you can imagine that falls into the noise category. When she wants your attention she will DEF let you know.

She's also trying to hold her bottle herself which is so cute! She looooooves her bottles. She can be upset and crying and you show her a bottle and BAM she stops! She eats about 6 5 oz bottles a day. We are trying to bump her up a bit in ounces but her tummy can't handle it sometimes.

She is an excellent sleeper. She has been sleeping through the night since around 2 months, with just an occassional wake up during the night for a bottle. Those are very far and in between though, we are DEF blessed with that :) I haven't moved her to her crib yet, because Im a weenie, but we will be making the big move soon. For now she sleeps in her pack n play in our room.

She is also long enough to get in her exersaucer/jumper. We got this from a friend for Audree's baby shower and Audree looooooved being in it. So we pulled it out for Ashlyn! She will sit and play for about 30 minutes and then she has had enough! I think Audree likes playing with it more than Ashlyn haha

Ashyln loves Audree so much and Audree loves Ashlyn. You can see it in their eyes when they look at each other and it makes me so happy and filled with joy. Audree always wants to play with Ashlyn and help her do things. Ashlyn smiles and laughs everytime Audree is around, which is 24/7 haha. They are never apart, except when she is asleep. I think they are going to grow up to be very very close.

I can't wait to continue to watch her grow! She is the light of our life and completes our family. We love you Ashlyn!!

Party Hardy

This past Saturday we were busy bees! We had to birthday party's to attend and they were back to back.

Teagan turned the BIG 1!! His theme was Mickey Mouse and it was so adorable. Mr T is just the cutest thing Ive ever seen. We had fun running and playing in the gym and of course watching Teagan open his presents.

Hunter turned the BIG 3. He had a swimming party at his grandmother's house and it was soooo much fun! We played in the little pool, the big pool and of course the slip n slide! Audree couldn't quite figure that part out though hahaa she army crawled down it. The cake was DELICIOUS too.
