Watch out Buddy, Audree is coming for you!!

Audree wanted to make PawPaw's birthday cake this year so we went to the store and let her pick out all the decorations for his cake. I let her do everything, but crack the eggs and do the border. She put in all the ingredients and did the sprinkles. She is very proud of her first cake she made!

Ice scream, You Sceam.....

We ALL scream for ice cream!!

Last night Brett took us to Dairy Queen for a treat! I haven't had DQ in such a long time, and Audree was super excited to eat her very first ice cream cone. Yes I said very first ice cream cone!!

Audree was very excited and did very well without a mess!! I have a feeling she will be asking to go here more often :)

Birthday

This past Saturday we atteneded Braxton's 6th birthday party @ the mayborn museum. I absolutley love this place and love taking Audree here. Ill have to admit I was VERY nervous to take the girls because Brett had to work. I have never taken both girls out in public by myself, much less for 2 hours.

I try to think of myself as super mom who can handle anything as long as I stay calm, however I was quickly corrected!! Things started out well, until Ashlyn screamed bloody murder everytime someone tried to hold her. I was literally stuck holding her the entire 2 hours, which is pretty hard when I was trying to juggle & play with Audree as well. Ashlyn started a crying fit and would not stop, Audree did not understand why I couldn't play with her and so then she started crying. BUT I SURVIVED!!! The first 45 minutes was pretty darn tough.... but the last hour was okay!! I look back on it now and of course I laugh at myself because Im sure I looked like a freaking comedy movie

Overall we had a blast and Im looking forward to more birthday parties, I just hope Brett can attend the next one hahaha we have 2 back to back on the same day

Splash Park

This past Sunday we took Audree to a local Splash Park. We have never taken her before, but I thought she would enjoy it and IT WAS FREE!! There were a few other kids there so Audree had fun playing with them! We took Ashlyn and got her feet a little wet, but she didn't take it very well haha so she decided she would take a nap while sissy played.
