Dentist

This morning was Audree's very first dentist appointment! We have been prepping her for about 2 months so she would know what to expect. They didn't do any x-rays or cleaning today since it was her first appt. They like to ease them into the whole process, which I thought was super duper good!

When we walked in Audree was so excited! Not really to see the dentist, but the whole place was painted kid friendly and they had toys everywhere! We checked in and Audree went off to play. When the lady called her over for a picture her shyness kicked in INSTANTLY! But we finally got a picture of her.

We played and played until she got called back to the room. She immediatley froze up, until the dental asst left the room. When she came back they gave her some sun glasses to wear so the light wouldn't hurt her eyes. When Dr Trotter came in to visit with her, she was VERY shy. Audree brought Ellie (her little pink elephant she got when she was born and she carries it with her) and the dentist started off by counting Ellie's teeth so Audree wouldn't be so scared!

Next it was Audree's turn! She wasn't too thrilled with laying back on the big girl table but she did VERY good & NO TEARS!!! She wouldn't open her mouth at first for them, but she eventually gave in. They counted her teeth and looked around in her mouth to make sure everything was good!

We recieved a good report and they said her teeth and gums look very healthy! they said we are doing a wonderful job with her oral care and to keep it up. They did mention her labial frenum
which is the muscle between your teeth. She said the one between her front teeth is a little large. If the muscle doesn't decrease inside, they would have to go in and clip it out. It can prevent your 2 front teeth from forming together. They will keep an eye on it and monitor it before they do anything about it. We also discussed her gaps and her underbite. She said it was great to have gaps at a young age. #1 it helps with better oral hygiene and # 2 it gives her permanent teeth more room to grow in!

We will go back in 6 months for another check up and hopefully get her teeth cleaned for the very first time!

I have made the commitment to join a Boot Camp! It will me held for 4 consective weeks at a local park. Classes are Monday, Wednesday Friday @ 5:15 AM! EEEEEEK, I love my sleep so this will def be tough for me.

They state you can lose 3-8% of your body fat and drop 1-2 dress sizes. Im nervous, anxious, scared and excited all at the same time! Ive heard it is VERY VERY tough! They say it will kick your rear, you will probably puke, and you will have muscles that are VERY VERY sore! A lot of people that have done it, will do back to back sessions over month's time periods and say they got VERY fit. Some the best shape of their lives! Every other week they will make us RUN bleachers. Here is a pic of the stadium and the bleachers I will be having to run. TOUGH!!!!

Park & Fireworks

Sunday we woke up and headed out for breakfast. We stopped at a local Mexican restauraunt and it was delicious. Afterwards we headed to Sandy Amusement Park which is a little theme park in Carrolton. The girls rode rides all afternoon and had a blast.

That evening we headed to Kaboom Town, which is in Addisson. They had a HUGE event there to celebrate the 4th of July. They had face painting, sand art, inflatables, food, live music, etc.

It was so incredibly hot outside, but we had a blast! That evening that put on a firework show that lasted around 30 minutes.
