Christmas Day

Well after 2 days of Christmas, we FINALLY got to Christmas morning! We had to wake Audree up @ 8:15 and she was not a happy camper to get up haha she is just like her momma! I told her Santa Clause came to see her and she told me no want it. Oh how I love waking her up :o)

I finally got her up and off we went into the living room. She looked at everything for a minute and she had no clue what to think. Finally she took of running into her playhouse and wouldn't come out haha Santa must have known how much she would like that! Santa brought her the playhouse, a kitchen and an art desk.

Needless to say she opened maybe 3 of her MILLION presents from us. I guess after 2 days jam packed full of Christmas' she lost her interest in opening. After I opened just about everything for her she went to town and went into full playing mode. She got sooo many things that Brett says our house looks like a mini Toys R Us and I have to say I agree. BUT Audree was a really good girl this year!

I didn't get any pics of me and Brett, we were too focused on Audree but we made out like bandits too!! Brett bought me my anniversary band for Christmas *WHOO HOO* I was so excited!!

After things settled down at our house, we got dressed and headed to my dad's for cmas with them. My sister got a new puppy, Marley, for Cmas so Audree had a BLAST playing with him. Marley followed her every where she went it was so cute! My stepmom made us the traditional breakfast that included: eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, cinammon rolls and my FAVORITE potatoes she makes. We all ate and off we went to open presents! Audree loaded up on Wonder Pet toys, I think she has every one made my now, and couldn't quit playing with them. She also got Elmo Live which she thinks is HILIARIOUS and a new Barbie BICYCLE. She was so excited for the bicycle and we had to put her on it over and over and over.

After dad's we were able to come and relax. We have never been able to just make one stop on Christmas, but this year I said we were going to do it. I want Audree (and litle Ashlyn next year) to be able to play with our their toys and not be rushed from house to house like we usually are. We came home, got in our pj's again and played our little hearts out with all the new toys. Brett built a fire for us and it was so nice!! My dad and stepmom came by later that night and saw all of Audree's new toys and Pop Pop (my dad) played with her. My dad brought over this game that shocks you and him and Brett were HILIARIOUS playing it.

On the 2nd Day Of Cmas My True Love Gave To Me....

Christmas Eve morning we always head to my mom's to have breakfast and open up our presents with them and my brother. We got there about 10:30 and my stepdad had made us some sausage biscuits and delicious cinammon rolls!!

Audree racked up (not rotten at all huh?) and had tons of presents to open! She got a swing set (not put together yet), books, puzzles, barbies and acessories, dolly's, leggos and just about anything you could imagine!

After Cmas with my mom we headed over to Brett's family's and spent the day with them. We moved their Cmas to Cmas Eve night so we didn't have a lot of running around to do Cmas Day. Brett's brother from Austin came down and his sister was there so we had everyone there minus our neice, who was with her daddy. We all played and talked and of course the BIG SHOCKER was it started SNOWING!!I had just laid Audree down for a nap and of course being the big kid I am had to get up and go play

I bundled Audree up and of we went to play outside! Audree laughed and screamed and had a BLAST in the snow! It lasted for about 30 minutes before it stopped, but hey it snowed!!

Around 4:30 the afternoon we headed to our church for the candlelight cmas eve service. We had to get there 45 min before it started because the church fills up so fast and we wanted to have a seat. My mother in law and sister in law joined us this year and it was such a nice service. It started snowing again on the way there and I was sooooo excited! I kept looking out the windows during service to see it fall. Audree did fairly well through the hour service, I did have to take her out about 40 min in the service because she was bored and we had entertained her all we could! So I let her go in the lobby and we walked around and played. We made it back in just in time for the candle-lighting and sang one last song before heading home.

We headed back to Brett's parents house after service and had our Cmas dinner! We all sat around the table and ate and talked before we opened presents. Our neice played "Santa" and passed out everyone's presents! Once again Audree loaded up on things.

Our final stop for Cmas Eve was at my step-mom's family's. This is one Cmas you NEVER want to miss. The people are so crazy, but in a good way and you never know whats going to happen from one moment to the next. They waited on us to get there, due to our prior plans, so we got to participate in the good and bad chinese gift exchange! I was # 1 in the good chinese and the gift I picked got stolen right away but I ended up with a pair of foot massaging slippers. Brett was #9 and his gifts got stolen twice and he finally ended up with a $25 outback gift card. There were SOOOOOOOOOOO many good gifts this year!!

We didnt walk in the door until 11:30 and let me tell you I was sooo tired! BUT we still had toys to put together. The bed was calling my name but the toys were telling me Im not gonna put myself together! After we put her toys together we didn't get to bed until around 2 and I was out like a light!!

On the 1st day Of Cmas My True Love Gave To Me....

On the 23rd, we had Christmas with my grandmother and cousins @ my mom's house. We had our traditional food: sandwiches, cheese dip, desserts, sausage balls, and of course the lime sherbet punch! After dinner it was time to open presents. Since we were little we have always gone in age order from youngest to oldest so little missy was the first to go. Nana bought her a rocking chair and Delaney and Colton bought her a picnic table for outside (WHOO HOO)! She was so excited to get both presents and wanted to ride home in the rocking chair instead of her carseat haha

We watched Delaney and Colton (my cousins) open up their presents (they loaded up) and then it was our turns! I got some new undies courtesy of Nana (yeppers I asked for them) and my electric can opener Ive been wanting & Brett got a new electric knife for when we are grilling out and have our ribs and brisket to cut!


We had fun, as usual, and laughed the night away! We finally got home around 10ish and all 3 of us were so tired (we both had to work that day and Audree didn't have a nap). We crashed as soon as we got home!!
