The other night Brett & I were cleaning up the kitchen and I hear Audree & Ashlyn laughing. We walked around the corner and this is what we saw! Apparently Audree thought Ashlyn needed some stickets ON HER FOREHEAD haha

Sick Baby

As most of you know the crud has been going around here lately. The sneezing, the coughing, the runny nose, etc. I started it out, then Audree, now little Ashlyn has it. She has been battling it for the last 2 weeks now. I took her in to the Dr last Thursday and he told me it was nothing to worry about she will be fine and feel better by Monday. Well Monday rolled around and she was WORSE....WAY WORSE! I made another appointment with her pedi and told them I did not want to see anyone else in the office but her (she was booked the Thurs we took her in). She took one listen to her and said she is very congested and wheezing. They gave her a breathing treatment and she sounded a lot better after it. They also did xrays just to ensure it wasnt down in her lungs (which it wasn't thank goodness). So we have been doing nebulizer treatments every 4 hours with albuterol and Im not seeing much of a change. If she isn't better by Monday we will take her back in.

Family Picture Preview

Last Friday evening we went and had some family pictures as well as the girls pictures taken by Snaptastic Shot Photography. We did an evening session because i thought it would be cooler..... WRONGO!! She has sent 3 preview pics and I ABSOLUTELY love them!

The Zoo

Sunday we took the girls to the zoo and had a blast! We hadn't been since Audree turned 1, so we decided to take them again. Audree was so excited to see all the animals!! The most exciting thing we saw was the elephants! Audree carries around a pink stuffed elephant she has had since before she was born. She takes it everywhere with her and can't sleep without her. Well when we got to the elephants she got so excited and yelled "ELLE!!!" (thats the name of her elephant). We watched the elephants and one was even giving himself a bath which she thought was hilarious!! Even though it was HOT we had a great time!

Hanging Out Outside

This past week the weather took a turn and it actually got a little cooler outside! We took advantage of this and let the girls play outside.

Audree wanted to ride her bike and she had to put all her "gear" on. My dad bought her a Barbie bike for Christmas and she still isn't old enough to push the pedals so Brett has to walk behind her and push. He's trying to teach her to do it, but she just doesn't have the strength in her legs yet.

After she rode her bike, she jumped on her hot wheels and off we went for a walk down the road. I didn't want to get the stroller out, so we strapped Ashlyn on to me hahaha I love this thing! I have free hands to help Audree and anything else I want to do.
