Audree Lifting Weights
Friday, February 12, 2010
We know Ashlyn will be coming around the 38 week mark, we just dont have a set date yet. We should know here in the next 2.5 weeks, which makes me really nervous! We have all the baby things (bassinett, pack n play, carseat, etc) down and ready just not in the house yet.
Audree has been feeling under the weather since Sunday and now Ive got it. Were all congested, coughing, sneezing, and all over feel like CRUD! Its been a very hard week because everyone ket telling me I couldn't take any medicine. I finally called the Dr on Thurs and said I need something, I am miserable! So my AMAZING nurse called me in a Zpak and Im already feeling better!
How your baby's growing:
Your baby's about 15.7 inches long now, and she weighs almost 3 pounds (like a head of cabbage). A pint and a half of amniotic fluid surrounds her, but that volume will decrease as she gets bigger and takes up more room in your uterus. Her eyesight continues to develop, though it's not very keen; even after she's born, she'll keep her eyes closed for a good part of the day. When she does open them, she'll respond to changes in light but will have 20/400 vision — which means she can only make out objects a few inches from her face. (Normal adult vision is 20/20.)
How your life's changing:
You may be feeling a little tired these days, especially if you're having trouble sleeping. You might also feel clumsier than normal, which is perfectly understandable. Not only are you heavier, but the concentration of weight in your pregnant belly causes a shift in your center of gravity. Plus, thanks to hormonal changes, your ligaments are more lax, so your joints are looser, which may also contribute to your balance being a bit off. Also, this relaxation of your ligaments can actually cause your feet to spread permanently, so you may have to invest in some new shoes in a bigger size.Remember those mood swings you had earlier in pregnancy? The combination of uncomfortable symptoms and hormonal changes can result in a return of those emotional ups and downs. It's normal to worry about what your labor will be like or whether you'll be a good parent. But if you can't shake the blues or feel increasingly irritable or agitated, talk to your doctor or midwife. You may be among the 1 in 10 expectant women who battle depression during pregnancy. Also let your caregiver know if you're frequently nervous or anxious.

Snow!!
This morning when we woke up, Audree got to see the snow before she left for Grammy's. She said oh momma rain? I said no baby that is called snow. She told how pretty it was and asked if she could touch it. I said sure baby, but its going to be cold. She bent down, touched it, and said "BRRRRRRRRRRR momma that is really cold" haha
What we woke up to, it was sooo pretty
Audree amazed by the snow
Audree's 2nd Birthday
We took her shopping, went to build a bear and she made a puppy dog she named "Barbie" (SHOCKER!! haha), played with her basketball goal (her bday present from us), baked cupcakes and had a grand ol time!
We had family over last night for pizza and cupcakes! It was fun to have everyone over and in one location at one time, esp to honor princess Audree's 2nd birthday! Here are some pics from the day!!
Thinking about picking Hello Kitty
Stuffing her doggy she picked out
Picking out a hear to put inside
We gave her a bath and combed her fur
Audree dressing her puppy
She helped put sprinkles on her cupcakes
Uncle Shane playing the princess piano
I can't believe 2 years has gone by since we brought our amazing little girl into the world. We are so thankful that God has blessed us with you and there isn't a second that goes by that we aren't grateful he put you into our lives. You mean more than you will ever know to mommy & daddy. You are such an amazing little girl and I can't wait to see you grow more and more each day!!

"Daddy I help you?"
Here is some pics of Audree helping daddy put her car together
I like how she has her hand on her hip while fixing it! That's a woman haha
Audree's 2nd Birthday Bash
Audree was a litle whiney at first and wouldn't leave my side. She only got in a 30 minute nap, so I kind of expected it. BUT once she got going and playing she had so much fun. She got a little embarrased when we all sang Happy Birthday to her and she didn't want to open presents, she just kept telling me eat momma. She wanted her cake, I cut her a piece but her Grammy ate it. YES GRAMMY IM CALLING YOU OUT IN FRONT OF BLOGGER LAND haha She didn't mean too, or so she says hahaha I convinced her to finally open up some presents, but the attention came and went the entire time!

Braxton..... Hicks????
Shortly after I got settled, I started experiencing some mild cramping. It didn't hurt what so ever just a little uncomfortable!!! This went on for about 2 hours and then I started getting a little nervous and my mind started racing 90 to nothing. What if its this... What if its that? So i googled it and it said most likely they are Braxton Hicks contractions. My stomach is hard all the time it seems, but it said my stomach would get hard with the Braxton Hicks. Hmm..... I never experienced this with Audree, so this is all new to me even though its my 2nd pregnancy.
So im just going to keep an eye on it and keep watching it. I go to the Dr again on the 16th so I will ask my Dr when I go in then!!
