Ducks!

Yesterday evening we took the girls down to feed the ducks. When we got there the ducks literally walked out of the water and right up to us! It freaked Audree out a little bit that they got so close, but I thought it was sooooo neat! We fed them some bread and they loved it!

Afterwards I took advantage of the scenary and snapped some pictures of the girls!

Approaching the BIG 3

I have so many mixed emotions about my little girl turning 3. I can not believe that she was born almost 3 years ago! It breaks my heart because I just knew she would stay little forever.


This year she wanted a Tangled (Rapunzel) Birthday Party. Which I think Rapunzel is just too cute and we found some really cute decorations to decorate with. She wanted to have it at a local Jumping Party which is a huge place filled with nothing but inflatables! We also ordered her a Rapunzel cake which is a tower and it will have Rapunzel in the top with her hair flowing down the side (I cant wait to see it!!!!)

9 Months Old

I can't believe I am already posting Ashlyn's 9 month check-up! Time just keeps flying by and its not slowing down which makes me so incredibly sad!


We took Ashlyn to the Dr for her 9 month checkup on Wednesday. She weighed in at 20 lbs 15 oz and 28.5 inches long. The Dr said she was doing absolutley wonderful! She is doing everything she should plus things she shouldn't be which is always nice to hear :) She did have to get her 2nd flu shot, which we weren't expecting so of course she screamed her little head off and it made me so sad!!! OVERALL she is doing EXCELLENT we wont go back until her 1 yr check up :(


Some things Ashlyn is doing:
*Pulls up to standing
* Stands for periods of time on her own
* Starting to "cruise" while holding on to things
* Says Momma, Dada, Dog, Siddartha, YES MY KID SAYS this (its my inlaws cats name). We were all flabergasted when she said it
* Started drinking from a sippy cup atleast one time a day
* Starting to eat big people food a little at a time
* Still drinks around 7.5 ounces 4 times a day
* Crawling all over the place, we can't keep her still
* Started sucking her thumb recently which I am dreading!!!

Mommy's Helper

The other day it was just Ashlyn & I so we decided to do some laundry! Its always a task when the girls to decide to help but Ashlyn was wanting to do it all by herself! She pulled the clothes out of the basket, threw the hangers everywhere, & even got into the basket lol

New Zoidac Signs?

Okay so im sure many of you have heard about the new zodiac signs by now. I am just in complete shock that someone can just come in and change the something that has been around for who knows how long!

Look Who's 50

My wonderful daddy turned the big 5-0 yesterday! I can't believe he is offically OVER THE HILL!!

We all went to a local Mexican restauraunt to celebrate! We had about 25 people there to help my dad celebrate this "momentous" time in his life lol! I made the girls shirts that said "My Pop Pop is 50" and my sister and cousin made shirts too for them to wear. My brother surprised all of us and came in to celebrate for my dad's birthday! My dad had a great time and it all showed on his face!!

Dad thank you for being there for me, You mean more to me than you will ever know! You are the best dad and "pop pop" that anyone could ever ask for! I love you!!!

Happy Birthday to My Old Man

Last Monday my hubby turned the BIG 27! We all went to a local Japanese Steakhouse called Fugi. I absolutley love this place and of course the show they put on while sitting at the Hibachi grill. The chef tried to teach us how to use chopsticks, I failed this task as usual! LOL none of us were really good at it, but the kiddos caught on pretty well. They gave them "trainer" chopsticks, which we all should have had hahahaha

Anywho we all ate some WONDERFUL food, laughed, talked and had an overal amazing time!
