Friends, where would I be without them? Who would I vent to, gossip with, share my funny moments with, and just to chit chat? I tell you where..... well ok I really dont know lol I've remained close friends with a few people from high school as well as made new ones.

My Hubby! My husband is truly my best friend. He is there for me 24 hours a day 7 days a week ;) (he has no choice lol) But honestly he truly is my best friend. I love this man with all that I have and he means the world to me. He is there for me no matter what is going on and always listens to me. He truly is my best friend in the entire world!

Katy- oh my dear sweet katy! Katy and I have been friends since high school. I just love her. Her 2 boys are oh so sadorable and so sweet. Katy is the type of girl that would give you the shirt off her back. She is always putting others first and makes sure her family is taken care of. Katy has helped me through tough times and always has the right words to make me feel better when im down

Day 8- A Place You've Traveled To

I haven't travelled too many places, esp outside of Texas. Ive honestly only been out of Texas once. I don't travel too much, because honestly I hate being away from home. I get home sick pretty easy, which is a flaw I wish I could improve!! In 2007 we travelled to Mexico with some of our best friends. I was SCARED to death because I HATE flying with a passion. I'm one of those people who thinks the plane will crash just because I am on it lol Anywho, we went to Riveria Maya Mexico, which was AMAZING! We were there for entire 7 days which was HEAVEN! We flew into Cancun, which if you've never flown into there holy cow! It looks like you are going to land in the middle of a field! Once we were there, we rode a shuttle for about a hour to get to Riveria Maya. We stayed a at a Riu which was so BEAUTIFUL! We were just steps from the ocean and beach, had tons of activities on the resort, & the food was amazing. We did other things that weren't on the resort that included: swimming with dolphins & snorkeling on the biggest coral reef in Mexico. It rained 2 of the days we were there, and we still had a blast! Every night they had a show they would put on and it was amazing entertainment! Tiffany & I even met "Michael Jackson" We had so much fun hanging out wtih friends, kicking back, relaxing and just having a good 'ol time!

I would love to go back with our families on mine and Bretts 10 year wedding anniversary and let us renew our vows on the beach with our little ones.

Day 7- Favorite Movie

Today I am supposed to write about my favorite movies! I have TONS of movies I like, but I am also one of those people who HATE to rewatch movies I already have seen, even if I LOVED that movie. BUT I have made an exception to the rule about and these following movies I could watch over and over and over!

The first movie I could see over and over is the Sound of Music! It is a "musical" and I know all of the songs they sing. You can go here if you want to know the plot line. I know some people think Im a dork for liking this but I LOVE IT!!!

This would be another one of my favorite movies! Yes its a kids movie, and yes I liked it WAAAAAAY before I had kiddos! This is just a cute, family, fun movie! I love sulley and of course Boo the little 2 year old girl in the movie. I would DEF say watch this if you have not seen this before :)

Now I do have a list of faves: Drop Dead Fred, Sweet Home Alabama, How to lose a guy in 10 days, Fried Green Tomatoes, etc. However the 2 above are my ALL TIME fave!!

Day 6- A Picture That Makes You Happy

A picture that makes me happy.... WOW I could post a million and one pictures that make me happy. My girls, my animals, funny pics that get set through emails, etc. However, with my 6 year wedding anniversary coming up (next Saturday) I decided I would use one from our wedding day.

“This day I will marry my friend, the one I laugh with, live for, dream with, love.”

This was the happiest day of my life (besides my children being born). Brett is my entire world and life. I am so thankful that God let me to him and placed him in my life. I love being able to fall asleep his arms at night and wake up next to him in the morning. I love to watch him play with our daughters and love the way he looks at them. I love that he is always treating me like a queen and our daughters like princess'. I love that he is my husband and daughters father. I love him for him!!

Day 5- Favortite Recipes

Oh man I I'm a sucker for desserts!!! So i am choosing to do my FAVORITE 2 dessert recipes ever!

The first one is butterfinger cake (YUMMY)!! Its super easy and super delicious!

Ingredients:

1. Chocolate or yellow cake mix
2. Caramel topping (the one used for ice cream toppings)
3. 1 Can of condensed milk
4. 2 butterfingers
5. Cool Whip

Instructions

Bake cake by box directions. While cake is baking, mix milk and caramel topping until well blended. When the cake is done and while it's still hot, poke holes in it with a fork (I use an ice pick). Pour milk mixture over the cake. Sprinkle one candy bar over the topping. Spread Cool Whip over the top, then sprinkle the other candy bar on tip. Chill in fridge

Sopapilla cheesecake

Ingredients
1.3 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
2. 1 1/2 cups white sugar
3. 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
4. 2 (8 ounce) cans crescent roll dough
5. 1/2 cup melted butter
6. 1/2 cup white sugar
7. 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions

Preheat an oven to 350 degrees. Beat the cream cheese with 1 1/2 cups of sugar, and the vanilla extract in a bowl until smooth. Unroll the cans of crescent roll dough, and press into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Evenly spread the cream cheese mixture into the baking dish, then cover with the remaining piece of crescent dough. Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the top of the cheesecake. Stir the remaining 1/2 cup of sugar together with the cinnamon in a small bowl, and sprinkle over the cheesecake. Bake in the oven until the crescent dough has puffed and turned golden brown, about 45 minutes. Cool completely in the pan before cutting. **I prefer to eat this cake cold, some like it warm. AND ITS WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better the next day**

Alleriges?!?!?!

Well after being congested, having a sore throat, sneezing, coughing and having my ears stopped up for around 6 months I am being sent to an allergist. I a miserable when I feel this way & it keeps happening every time I turn around. Seriously, in the last 6 months I have been this way atleast twice a month. It ends up turning into bad sinus infection or bronchitis. I am so ready for some relief its UNREAL! My Dr said hopefully they will be calling me beginning of next week to get me in!

Day 4- Your Parents

Well I can say that I am blessed to have the parents I have. They are absolutley the best human beings that God put on this Earth. They have been there for me through thick and thin, through day and night, through everything. I am very very blessed to have been given the parents God gave me! My mother- My mom was born in Dallas, TX back in good 'ol 1961! She was born to my Nana & Papaw who are my heros. My mom was a "teen" mom but it was short lived. She lost my oldest brother shortly after delivery and I can not imagine how she felt. She went on to deliver my brother as well as me. She was always an excellent mother to us. Always putting herself last and made sure we were well taken care of!! She had gastric bypass back in 2006 to relieve some of her health issues. However they did not resolve them as they had thought they did. My mother has a lot of health problems so therefore she was forced to stay at home and not work. She is now on disability and has been since she was 2008 as just the young age of 47. My Dad- Oh my dad he is just a crazy nut! Most of my friends think my dad is just the coolest thing, I on the other think he is a dork <---- okay so just kidding about that. He has 3 brothers and he is the middle child. He is a contractor for the us post office and hauls mail all through the night. He has ben employed there for 15 or so years now. He loves his boat and is out on the lake every chance he gets! He is an amazing grandfather to my 2 lovely girls. He spoils them ROTTEN!
