Memories

I was sitting here thinking about all of the memories I have. I have to say I have lived an absolute wonderful life. Sure its had its up and downs, the goods and bads, but overall I am very blessed.

Our wedding, oh how this was the best day of my life. I married my best friend and couldn't be any happier. I love this man with all of my heart and soul.

Our trip to Mexico with The Pifers in 2007. My first out of country experiance and only 2nd time flying. We had soooooo much fun. We woke up every morning to paradise. Even when it rained it didn't stop us from going.

My cheerleading days in high school. Oh how I miss these. We were such a close group of girls who were the best of friends. We knew just about, if not everything, about each other. We spent more time with each other than our own families it seemed like. We have so many memories together that I will never forget.

My brother! Oh I just love and adore my brother to pieces. Sure we fought like cats and dogs with each other, but we had so many good times together. Sometimes I wish we could rewind time .

Our first wedding anniversary. WOW... just to think we are celebrating our 7th anniversary here in just 3 months!!! We celebrated by going to Austin for the weekend. We stayed at a bed and breakfast and just had to the best time together.

The birth of our amazing 2 daughters. My life forever changed once we found out we were pregnant with them. I can't even put into words how much these girls mean to me.

Happy Birthday to my Daddy!

Today is my wonderful daddy’s 51st birthday. WHOA DID I REALLY JUST TYPE OUT THE NUMBERS 5 & 1 NEXT TO EACH OTHER hahahaha

My dad is such an amazing man and means the absolute world to me. I am so honored and blessed to have the dad that I do. We have such an awesome relationship for a father & daughter.

He is the best Pop Pop anyone could have ever asked for. Audree & Ashlyn absolutely adore my father to pieces. Everynight I hear the same questions: Is my Pop Pop coming to see me tonight? When my dad comes over on his normal Thursday night visits to see the girls, they are stuck up his rear. It makes my heart fill with so much love when I hear him playing with them in their room. He gets on the floor with them, has played barbies, games and basically anything they want to do, he does it.

Daddy I hope you have an AMAZING birthday!! We ♥ you so much.

What black and white with stripes all over??

The answer to that title is Audree's room.

Ashlyn hasn't been sleeping in her bed for a few months now, because she wants to sleep with her sissy. So we decided last night we would (GULP :( take the crib down. I was so sad, but I knew that it was just taking up space in the girls room.


Audree has decided she wants a zebra themed room. We found a bedding that is really cute at Target. Of course I love zebra print so im all over going for zebra room with her lol

Then I will repaint the letters on her wall that spells out her name to match.

Eventually Ashlyn will be moving into her own room (well a new bed and new decor we will see if she actually sleeps in it lol). We have some things we have to buy, get rid of before we can start that move. Im excited to being this project and see how it goes.

Party Planning Mode

Its that time of year again!! Yep party planning for Audree's Birthday Party. I alway stress and stress over the girls birthday parties but I decided this year I will not be stressed!

Well the theme has been decided for Audree's 4th Birthday Party. She has changed her mind a million and one times but now we have it set in stone :)

DRUM ROLL PLEASE....................................

TADA Its Hello Kitty! Audree loves hello kitty and she came up with the theme on her own. We will be having it at a local place called Pinwheel Kids. This place is REALLY neat and so kid-friendly / oriented. Audree wanted to have a painting party so this should be lots of fun. We have teamed up with Simply Events to help with the party. They provide EVERYTHING but the kitched sink :) They are excited to start working on Audree's party and I have to say I am pretty excited too!

My Hubby's 28th Birthday

Today is my hubby's 28th birthday!

We all went out to Red Lobster on Sunday to celebrate his birthday with the family. Brett chowed down on his favorite "The Ultimate Feast". I ordered him a cookie cake that was SUPPOSED to be Dallas Cowboy colors but it was more like a neon blue and the helmet was kind of crazy looking, but overall it was YUMMY IN OUR TUMMY!

I can't believe this is the 11th birthday we are celebrating together. It seems like just yesterday we were in high school passing "love letters" back and forth between classes :) I hope you have a FABULOUS birthday!!

New Years Eve

Brett, Audree, Ashlyn & Myself went to a local Japenese Steakhouse called Fugi. This is one of our favorite places to eat. I love watching them cook our food, and the show they put on.

After dinner, we headed to our inlaws for a little family get together. We put on fireworks, played a board game and ate some snacks.

Around 10 we headed home because the girls weren't going to last too much longer. Sure enough once we walked in to the door they got in their jammies and were out like a light. Brett & I sat in the living room and watched some tv until the ball dropped at midnight. After that I was off to my bed lol Im getting old
