Birthday Bash

This past Thursday my sweet little angel turned the BIG 1! I still can not believe it has been an entire year since she was born. She has her one year check up appointment next Thursday so i will know all her new stats then. We celebrated her actual birthday by taking her to the local zoo. Of course every animal she saw was called "dog dog". She had a great time, laughing, pointing at all of the animals and just being outside. She crashed about 10 minutes before we actually left.

That evening everyone came over for pizza, cake and ice cream. I was very anxious to see how she would act actually eating cake. She did as expected..... not too big into diving into the cake but she ate a little. Audree would NOT even touch her cake when she turned one I had to spoon feed her lol

This past Saturday we celebrated her party at a local park. The day was absolutley gorgeous! All the kiddos played on the playground, while Brett grilled out hot dogs! We did the normal birthday party stuff. We had a great turn out and couldn't ask for better friends and family!

Day 20- Somethings on your wish list

Oh this one I LOOOOOOOVE! I mean who doesn't have a wishlist these days?!?! I know I have a million and one things I could wish for, but Ive narrowed it down to a few. A boxer! I absolutley love boxers, especially when their little puppys! Growing up my stepmom had one and oh i just loved Roxanne! She was the best dog in the entire world!!!

Im hoping our next car will be a 4-runner, sadly im not the next car in line, Brett is! Granted Im hoping that we pay off my car (in 4 years) then both of our cars will be paid off and we wont have any car payments!!

BUT this would be my next car I would want. Of course who doesn't want a condo right on the beach? I would love to live by the ocean and just wake up to waves crashing everyday!!

Ipad 2! I mean i dont even have an ipad 1 so id even take that one lol!!

Health! I really want a good CLEAN bill of health. I want to live a long life and see my children grow!

Sneak Peek....

Sneak Peek of Ashlyn's 1st Birthday Party, more to come

Day 19- Something You Miss

This is a post that is one that i really didn't want to write. It brings so much sadness and emotions in me.

The one thing that I miss more than anything in this world is the relationship that i used to have with my mother. She was the loud mom who everyone loved and always wanted to be around. We went EVERYWHERE together and there wasn't a thing we couldn't tell each other. Even at the age of 18 I would still lay in bed with her at night, she would tickle my back, play with my hair and we would just talk until I went to sleep.

My mother got sick right before I got married. She was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, an issue with her parathyroid so she had to have it removed, diabetes, chronic fatigue syndrome, and the biggest cirrhosis of the liver. I know most of you see cirrhosis the liver and you think oh she was an alcoholic, however this is not the case. My mother has never been a drinker and really never even drank socially. My mother is kind of a medical mystery. They aren't sure why she feels the way she does, and why all of these symptoms are happening to her. She has several physicians she sees to help control her pain. She lives in a constant world of pain, she is always tired, she can barley move without feeling uncomfortable, and gets sick at the drop of a dime due to her compromised immune system.

Its hard on me knowing that I will never ever have the mother I once did. I feel like at days I dont even have a mother because of her sickness. It takes a very big emotional toll on me and I really try not to express is it anyone. I get mad, upset, sad, and angry with her status. I often ask why? why her? why did this happen to my mom? Its one thing to have always lived with a parent or loved one like this, but for this to happen suddenly its like why did you have to take my mother away? Shes not herself anymore and it really hurts. Okay so enough of the depressing post, but that is something that I do miss.

Day 18- Something you regret

This is a hard post for me because I always live my life saying "Never have regrets". I try not to do things I will regret in my life but you know we have all failed at that a time or two lol

I guess one regret in my life would be me being so vocal and opioionated. I have ALWAYS spoke my mind and Ive always been the type that whether you like it or not oh well, Im going to say it. Some might say this is a quality one would like to have as most people are too afraid to speak their mind, while others might agree with me and think this could be a flaw.

Speaking my mind has gotten me a few "jams" in my life. Ive gotten into arguments with people that mean the world to me, ive lost friends over speaking my mind and well ive just flat out gotten into knock down drag outs with some.

There has been a few instances in which i regret that i spoke my mind. It hurt some people that meant more to me than they will ever know. It caused me to lose a friendship that I valued more than anything all because I got mad and flew off at the mouth. this friendship was so "unbreakable" and strong. I said some very mean and hurtful things that I didn't mean and to this day i regret ever saying them. Ive said I was sorry more than I can count, and how i wish i could change the past. However, nobody can go back into time, they can only move forward. I really regret this day, but Ive done my best to try and repair what happened this day. I just wish this person knew how much they really do mean to our family and my children. I hope one day everyone can move on and be happy again!!

Happy 1st Birthday

One year ago today at 7:49 am our family became complete as we welcomed our 7 lb 1.4 oz baby Ashlyn! I was extremely nervous to head into my 2nd c-section but so ready to meet our precious little angel. I wrote her birth story last year, you can read it here . I can not believe I am actually telling my last baby Happy 1st Birthday!!! We will be celebrating her birthday party this weekend with a ladybug theme! I can't wait to see everyone there :)

You are one of the best babies in the entire world (next to your sister of course). You are so sweet, loveable and have the cutest personality! I love how you lay your head on me when youre tired, how you splish splash in the tub, the way you try to put the bows in your hair, how you laugh when you see your big sister & just love you all the way around. I can not believe 365 days have gone by since we welcomed you into this world. It seems like it was just weeks ago you were still in my belly kicking and rolling around. You will never know how much Daddy, sister & I love you.
