Meet the Teacher & 1st day of Pre-K

Last night it was Meet the Teacher for Audree and her new year at school. She started pre-k today at her school where she will only go 2 times a week to prepare for her the big transition to Kindergarten next year Her teachers are sooooo sweet and super duper nice!! I know Audree will enjoy them and have lots of fun!

This morning Audree was really excited about school. She laid her outfit out last night which you can see in the pictures below, she was REALLY sparkly lol She decided she wanted to wear her hair in pigtails and curl her hair, so of course we did as the princess requested. Audree talked non-stop this morning about school, but as soon as we pulled into the parking lot she got really quiet. She wouldn't carry her backpack or anything. Once we walked inside there was a lady taking pictures for the first day of school. I had to stand by her in order for her to smile a little for the picture lol We walked to her classroom and put her things in her cubby. She was very quiet and had tears in her eyes. I told her everything would be just fine, she was going to play with her friends, go to music class, etc and have tons of fun! Her teachers came and got her and took her to get out something special for the class. I got a thumbs up from one of her teachers right as I left. I am dying for 2:30 to roll around so I can go and pick her up!!!

Well 2:30 rolled around quicker than I thought! I was so excited to go pick up my baby from school!! She was anxiously waiting as some of the other parents were there picking their kids up as well. I got a huge smile and a hug when she saw me walk in the classroom!! The teachers told me she had a fantastic day at school! She played on the playground, sang in music class, did her artwork, and her teacher from last year said she even ran up to her and gave her a hug!

After I picked her up I promised her some yummy 3 spoons . This is one of Audree's favorite places to have dessert. She got to put all of her toppings on by herself, which she thought was super cool ( I usually put it on there for her). She told me all about her day at school and what she did. She said she played on the playground with all the girls, but no babies and no boys because daddy says Im not allowed to play with boys lol She told me the best part about her class was they get to take their shoes off at nap/movie time! She is just too funny! Here are some (MORE) pics......

Puppy Love

Everyday I go home for lunch to see my sweet little pups! I let them out, we play, etc for the hour that I get. Cooper has recently started playing with toys and he will drive you INSANE wanting to play with them too!!! But who can resist these puppy eyes?

Catch Up!

Hi my name is Apryle and I deserve the bad blogger award..... I haven't had too many interesting things to talk about and Ive been super bust at work, that when I come home i dont even want to get on the computer. I could blog from my phone (which is what I use when I want to use the internet) but I just haven't done it. The pictures from this post were supposed to be blogged about last week, I managed to email myself the pics but not get them up :(

The girls & I did some back to school shopping for Audree. Let me just tell you, they are my wonderful little shopping buddies! I am going to be in T-R-O-U-B-L-E when they get a little older. They would both grab things and say "Oh this is cute" "Oh mom look at this", etc. Anywho we were walking to another store and the girls were just holding hands and talking up a storm.

The next day we laid low and met my sister in law and niece for dinner at Poppa Rollos. This is a local pizza place that is delicious!!! It has games for the kids to play, which is why we eat there a lot lol Anywho here are some pics of the goofy gals

How sweet is this picture of my baby girls? I let them lay in my bed while I did some things around the house. I came in and saw them asleep just like this. Im truly blessed.

Audree starts Pre-K 2 days a week tomorrow :( I dont know where the time is going. I just wish it would slow down for a bit. I promised her we would take her to get her nails and feet done before school and she held me to that promise. She was sooooo good and her feet and nails turned out so cute!

Later that night, Audree pulled out an experiment kit she got for Christmas last year. Its called Dr Evil or something like that lol Anywho it has things where you can make drinks, gummy spiders, etc. She pulled this out and of course made her daddy play with her. They were cracking me up listening to them talk to each other. This was kind of a "boy" thing so Brett really enjoyed it I think. They made some brain juice lol Audree made Brett & Ashlyn try it, needless to say their reactions said it all.

A Week In Review

So I have been a really bad blogger lately. I just haven't gotten around to doing it, but today I am making time.

This past week my husband graduated from college. Its always a HUGE celebration when someone graduates from college but let me explain. My husband has been going to college for 10, yes 10 years! He has only been able to take 1-2 classes a semester due to him having to work full time, balance his home life and have some sort of life all together. Then of course he took the semester off when we had the girls so he could help out as much as he could. So after 10 years, he finally made it through!

There was about 12 of us that met for dinner to celebrate this important even in Brett's life. Then headed on over to graduation. We sat almost in the front row and were right by where Brett was sitting so that was really nice. The girls were going crazy having to sit there for 2.5 hours lol Ashlyn would yell "GOOOOOOO DADDY" and throw her little hook em horns \m/ sign up, it was too cute! Towards the end Audree and Laura would yell GOOOOOO BRETT! I can only imagine Brett's face, he gets embarrassed quite easily. I am so incredibly proud of him, there are no words that could ever express how happy I am for him. He is just an amazing man and I am so blessed to be his wife.

Here is Cooper! He is growing like a tumble weed and getting HUGE! We found out about a month ago he had mange. It wasn't the kind that is contagious, so we have been treating that with oral medication every day. Its clearing up slooooooooooooooooooooowly but surly. I just love this boy, he is just the sweetest, most cuddly thing! Although he can be pretty rambunctious at times lol
