Saturday Brett had to work until 1 so the girls and I just lounged around, baked a bit, and played. Once he got home we headed out to the river to meet up with my dad & stepmom. My dad took his boat on the river since it was really windy out at the lake. We got Ashlyn a different life jacket since she HATED the one we bought her for the last trip! She was a completely different kiddo in this jacket, she LOVED IT! The girls took turn fighting over their pop pop and of course all of his attention lol
We stayed out on the river for about 5 hours, which was sooooo pretty and relaxing! We jumped in the water a few times to cool down and Audree well she wanted to swim for hours in their! She kept making excuses as to why we needed to stop and get into the water lol
Sunday we ran errands and then headed to my inlaws for a cookout! The girls and our niece swam in a little pool my mother in law bought them. They had a blast!! I have a feeling they will be in this pool everyday all summer hahaha My hubby grilled our BBQ chicken & hot dogs, my father in law made my FAVE homemade mac n cheese, my sister in law made Texas caviar, and then we had my cupcakes for dessert!
